Today I want to take you along with me to do my very first grocery delivery using the newly released side of Uber Driver app. In this vlog, I share my experience and provide a step-by-step guide on how to use the app, including the pickup process, navigating to the delivery address, and dropping off the groceries. It’s fearful when the store doesn’t have an item because in Las Vegas customers reduce/remove the tip. People don’t understand that we are not responsible for the store not having everything they request.

THanks so much, Claudia! I've done many restaurant deliveries, now I"ll do my fist shopping gig. I got my plus card about 9 months ago but havne't used it yet. Now I hear the actual card is obsolete, and now it's the digital card on Apple Wallet. When I get to the check stand, is there a button to click on for the Apple WAllet option? Thanks!

Interesting. I do this for a British supermarket and it's almost identical however I can't see why this is better than the supermarket doing it themselves. I don't think it'd work very well in my branch at least, so many items in the wrong place or you'd need to find it in the warehouse
Hi, it is great video! I have a question ,if you use a reusable bag how can you deliver the food for customer ,just take food out of the bag and put the food at customer's door ?

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! You use the credit card they give you but if you forget it at home you could also pay with your own money and then ask Uber to pay you back, I just don’t know how to do it because I always use the Plus card

Each person has their own price. Most people would deny that and wait for a bigger pay out. She just did the first one she got for the video.
@@DaddyFreudcost of living is the same for everyone, like you said she prob. did it for the video but nobody is going to accept less than 15 dollars an hour considering gas and car maintenence

How long does it take to pay you what you paid for the purchase?
Might be marginally better than ubereats at least. I remember running the numbers and what that pays after gas was around 5 bucks an hour. You would have made more making minimum wage in 1995. At least this is not a complete scam

$13 for 9.2km and you have to collect and scan and pack all the items hahaha thats terrible you can do KFC and Mcdonalds orders for that price and its one bag god thats terrible.

its pretty bad, probably as bad as ubereats as far as money/work. if you're a driver you aren't exactly making bank but at least your as doesn't leave the car

I am wondering if the store is out of an item can you go to another store to try to get these items? Can the customer choose this option in case they REALLY don't want to be without?
Haven't tried this but i doubt it. I wouldn't go shopping at one store for $13 dollars, let alone two. Unless the customer is willing to pay more they'll have to get off their as and get it themselves 😊
Communication with the app can become a problem. They can charge you twice.
What bout bags ? Where I live plastic bags are banned.
Thanks for this video....made me clear its not worth $13 to shop and deliver. But how are the tips? If most of them tip well maybe is worth it. Also I guarantee you that guy wouldn't bother asking if you need help if you were a guy or an old person 😂
I do uber (driving) part time and most people do not tip. Knowing that i'm not driving, looking for stuff in a store , parking, and going up to their apt for any less than 20/hour

Very nice video and informative, thanks. What I wanted to know, because I struggle to read a manual, was the scale. When the customer asks for an example of 5 bananas and for it to be, for example, 1.30 kg. When the app asks you to input how many bananas and the kg, I would of course put the number of bananas, but should I guess the kg or put 1.30 kg, even if it's less or more? Would not the right kilograms be weighed at the cash register anyway, and the customer would be charged the right amount, even if you input the wrong kilograms in the app?
Also if the customer has 1 or 2 items, should i always buy them a bag or text them first? If they don't respond should i just get them a bag?
Question: How many minutes, approximately, did it take to do this order from Parking your car to go inside the store to final delivery?
Excellent video, a question when paying with the card is it with my money? Uber gives a refund, I do food deliveries, I don't do shop and pay because it is not clear to me about the payment, can you help me?

I wish I could have seen the check out. I have the digital plus card and just nervous and wondering if it works everywhere. Also, do you scan the items at checkout? These are stupid questions. I know.
I had same issues which I contacted support and nothing was done about it but I was told by a friend to reach out to Spark_Techz which I did and he helped me in fixing mine and it's working perfectly fine
