Hi. I one both df7 and EX7. The df7 is still working fine however for the EX7 the number 4 setting for whammy is no longer working. I tried calibrating a number of times but to no avail. Can u please give some directions as to how it can be fixed? Thank u.
mmm, seems technical... I checked the manual but there is no "great reset"... so I believe I cannot help you on this one... However: have you tried setting 4 with the hiel engaged ? Maybe that could solve your problem as an alternative solution ? Fyi : you can also change and set the distortion type permanently; I would suggest the TS-9 for this ?... Good luck !!!
So true ! To me it seems like the EX-7 has been used alot in music by bands like Muse, Radiohead… I use the EX-7 on my Pedalboard for use in my coverband. The only negative thing is the odd power supply. Bst rgrds.
@@rafdepauw7372 I can't be sure of that pedal, but some Digitech have analogue circuits with digital controllers. Make an FS3X for it. It's better to use like that Best regards to you as well.
Guess it’s the experience of knowing how hard to push 🤔 My advice however is to use an ABY-switch. This will also help your signal to stay pure when not using the ex-7. Bst rgrds
You can get the DigiTech wiring diagram for the FS3X footswitch off the internet. It only costs a few dollars in parts and then solder it together. I put mine in a medium sized metal box (which is half of an old toolbox) with a tap tempo button and a button for changing channels on my amplifier. All simple to solder together. So I have a foot controller with five buttons. The EX7 is much nicer to use that way and it reduces wear and tear on the EX7.

It's an awesome pedal and people hated on it because it is "digital" even though it sounds near exact to the models. Nowadays, digital is accepted.

How come yours is so easy to turn on and off?
