I have worn out tapes and CDs of the Inspirations for many many years. They are my favorite. Although there are a lot of good Gospel groups. May God bless each of you
The "Original" Inspiration's Not today's group is my all time favorite Gospel group. Archie Watkins, Ronnie Hutchins, Jack Laws, Troy Burns and I can't leave out Martin Cook. Glad Jack came out at the end of this video. This video has three of them! Love these men! I've seen them several times in person. They used to come to my church and sing from time to time. I still have some of their albums "vinyl records" from back in the day that i still listen to, to this day. Thank you for sharing. God bless!
Karen Wright Do you most all of them are back together as the inspirations now? Archie is now the owner since Martin retired. He has Marlin, Troy (sometimes), Matt Dibler, and a few new guys. The older guys don't have the range they used to but they're still wonderful
I have listened to this quartet for many years and I have heard any better. I used to go to see them every year at Singing in The Smokies. I love the bass singing of Mike Holcomb. I have never heard better bass singing.
@@JayWhiteMadden Thank you. My boys and Y have followed the Inspirations since early 80's. My boys were 3&4. They sang right along with the eight track taps and the Great Inspirations. We always loved them because of their stand for Christ and the Gospel. Their singing and music is unparalleled. Unfortunately I could not keep up with all the names. Most I did. My boys did. Both of them STILL LOVE THE INSPIRATIONS THE BEST. We do miss the good ole boys tho. It's because of their singing, the songs and their testimony that my boys grew up, got saved and are living for Christ today, I have no doubt. Thank you for replying to me, this ole Inspiration Loving Grandma.
When I first heard time them, Mike and Eddie were with them. I became familiar with their very early sound through finding a few earlier albums from when Troy was singing bass. What a unique, high quality and inspirational sound they have had, since day one. My alltime favorite Gospel Quartet, no question about it.
Outstanding, I could listen to gospel music all day, nothing compares to the Inspirations
