Thank you for a great series - really interesting to watch the whole track being built up, and you work at such a speed that it didn't really take that long overall! Thanks also to Steinberg for hosting such informative content!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the mastering part was done on some final Mix down WAV file, and involves playing with compressors and eqs etc like the T-RACKS

The processing on the stereo out track is essentially the final mix you refer to.

Since studio one 7 is about to be released... what's new about Cubase 14, will it be out soon?

I have a limiter on this track and it's set to a competitive level that seems a little vague considering this video is called mixing and mastering it would be nice to hear a little more detail on how the limiter levels were set and why

Such a great tutorial series, but that sloppy glide on the bassline ruins the track, IMO :)

I don’t know how you went from logic to Cubase, I could get on with Cubase….so cluttered! Maybe I’ll try again! Great tutorial though!

Nope. Former Logic user here. In Cubase you can adjust all what you want to fit for you workflow. Very flexible. Logic has no macros!! No track searching!, the old fiddly mixer, clunky automation, lateny bug over sidechain busses and so on. Can't live without Cubase flexible mixer and control room, fast sampler track, multiple render options, wayyy better midi editor e.g. Cubase effects now are on par with Logic, I must say. C13 highly recommend.
