In this video, Abhi and Niyu discuss some practical lessons from the Indian Epic Mahabharat. These lessons include stories that are relevant even today, at least 3000 years after Mahabharat was first conceptualized.
Mahabharata is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of Hindu mythology, the other being the Ramayana. Mahabharata is considered as the powerhouse that contains all the knowledge about life. Mahabharata is an epic narration of the Kurukshetra War which was fought between the Kauravas and the Pandavas. Mahabharata is a vast treasure house of all the facts and knowledge and it is not possible for anyone to know everything about this holy text. Many of the facts are either missed out or are still unknown to people.

CBSE already has included Ramayana and Mahabharata in curriculum as a part of Hindi language. A totally seperate book titled as 'बाल रामायण कथा' and 'बाल महाभारत कथा' is provided to students and questions related to that are even asked in the exams. Let us promote this step by CBSE and motivate all other boards to also give some importance to these epics.

I lovee mahabharat to bits like anything with nara (arjun)narayan(krishna) being my fav but i can't see how would we actually integrate into curriculum maybe create a subject a optional one?
Obviously these are mythology. But no doubt it teaches good philosophies. It's impossible for a woman to have 99 children and for horses to fly and for people to walk staright up to heaven.
We can still respect these mythologies without actually comsidering them as true.
@@rememberwhen7271 Every religion has some bits that are hard to believe like Jesus walking on water or Mohammad disappearing on flying horse or what you stated above about Mahabharat.
This way all religions are based on some mythologies. So yeah, It is the learning that should continue and NOT the trivial detailing. :)

Yes yes, I agree we should be taught Mahabharat and Ramayan in our schools. Our children’s childhood must be made rich and quality specific with these enlightening history, which is our own. I’d also say that we must be taught there is happiness only in being together and in not being alone with ego, jealousy etc. Good efforts guys, kudos to you and your work.

Proud that in our school a book called bal mahabharat katha is teached in 7th class and in 6th class also we had bal ram katha which has the same story as Ramayana and Mahabharata

I am Turkish and my husband is Indian. I did not know Mahabharat before. I knew little parts but then one day we listened it from Sadhguru. Mahabharat touched me deeply. Although I am aware i know little of it still - I already realized that it is full of wisdom and should be a guide book that we carry on our head. A very deep and lesson-filled epic. Actually, I don't want to say epic, I think these are real historical events. I hope that the history of India, full of science and wisdom, will not be forgotten and will be a light again for the whole world today. I will continue to read and learn.

I am proud to say that in my school Dayawati Modi Academy - 1, we had Ramayana and Mahabharata as subjects along with other subjects. In 6th std. we were taught Ramayna, there was a separate book for it along with Hindi Vasant and Vyakran. Also in our hindi exams we used to have questions from it. Same is the case with Mahabharat which we were taught in 7th std. Thankyou Dayawati Modi Academy😊
Definitely all of this should be taught in schools and not in theoretical form. Not just for giving exams and gaining marks. We want people to learn the practical usage of this ultimate wisdom. Many people are drawn towards western culture nowadays. We want people to not judge someone but make themselves better in every way possible. Inner revolution is a must. We really want people to know about the benefits of yoga, different kinds of meditation, or what impact does the food and people make on our life. It's mandatory.

I really learn the mahabharat from my father. He really teaches me the whole story in my childhood. I feel proud that I know the entire story from my high school and I realize that true fact and science of this as i was growing up.

I used to listen from my some friends during my childhood about their parents storytelling the MAHABHARATA to them and thought why my parents doesn't do that but when I grew up like when I was in class 11 I got my bestfriend who was devoted towards the spirituality and I thought it as she being a typical person but when I dipped into it by the help of her and one of my teacher I realised that this KNOWLEDGE IS PRECIOUS and day by day I am trying my level best to know more and imply them on my life to make myself a better person for the future and bring Good changes but I still feel bad that my parents never tried to teach me but whenever I get to know I share with them but unfortunately as many indian child is ignored I also get ignored but one day I will definitely change this and not only my parents but each and everyone who don't pay attention will one day realise ...

Actually in our school I have learnt "Baal Ram katha" and "Baal Mahabharat" in class 6-7 and now I am in 9th. But I was taught like a course not like a life lesson....And u two are doing great so continue these mahabharat series....I want to know learn many things...☺️

Actually the purpose of the extra literary books in Hindi to provide the rich history and culture of India. It first taught Ramayana, then Mahabharata then Bharat ki Khoj. It is a book by Pandit Jawahar LAL Nehru. It talks about the History of India in Kali Yuga, from Indus-valley civilization to the British India

Exactly...I wanted to say the same , apart from lessons in school textbooks , Indian Education System have to bring the change of teachings of Mahabharata lessons in school which is really important to the young generation of India.

Me too had watched Mahabharata.. Literally started with nothing I had to watch (feel shame about that now) but ended with binge watching. More knowledge learnt than any other web series
