Me and the boys we play EASHL only. It's online and 4 free. So you're wrong. We're so surprised that ea isn't making any money with the World Of Chel modes. There were no ingame transactions for years, now they introduced a store for cosmetics that's it. I'm happy that people are willing to spend money in modes like HUT and keep the game alive. I understand for offline fans this must be really frustrating...

Really love how the first 2:30 of this 8 minute trailer is them talking about a feature from NHL14. At least they're bringing it all back. The new leads at the NHL team seem like they actually wanna make the game the best it can be and they have taken some major strides for this game. I'm really excited for the future of this franchise with this new lead team. Especially with the devs finally talking about GM Connected and how that could possibly return next year along with a PC port.

That’s it? Nobody’s trying to upgrade xfactors for 15 tiers, introduce a parallel system, where you can upgrade your players just by actually playing the game. It looks the exact same as last year, moments should’ve been in the game 15 years ago.

just like last year, it will have a speed of 90-92, but maybe it will get a special card after Christmas, because they don't want the card to be out in December, which will have a speed of 96, they give them a high speed and then they are afraid to give them improvements, classic
I can't for the life of me find any references to any couch co-op in this game. Has there been news about there being any modes worth playing with friends? Past years there was only the "relaxed" online versus, where there were about 5 people online at any given time and there's nothing to gain from winning matches. HUT co-op was the most fun I had in any NHL.
There's just wayyyyyyy too much stuff. I don't want to take a college course to figure out what's going on with sets upon sets, in different menus/sections, that need different cards with 30 different currency cards to unlock them, that come from different packs, events, and game modes. It's all a massive headache. HUT is an absolute mess, sorry. I'll probably play it for a week with my silver and bronze guys until 3/4ths of games are against people with $800 teams that are 99 overall, which will take all of 4 days.
Still no records? Just rivals, hut champs repeat? I'm not sure about everyone but I know vast majority like to play this game for the competitive/ leaderboards ...
