I've always loved fae, Fain, faen, faeries, fairies, etc., and believe I have seen some..There was an exposition of old Californian ranch old photos and in almost All of them with flower gardens, flower fields, etc., I could see little people among the blossoms and leaves...maybe just wishful thinking but they ARE Real to me.

All the missing people in the national parks make me think of the fae... The missing 411 covers some of the fae theories of why people go missing and then found in an area that had already been searched with no memory of the time they were missing.

This is a theater production involving a long list of characters and many different backdrop scenes with complicated stage lighting and all the works! ... all done by one person. She chose this speed because only then can a single voice create as much of a 3D all-senses-in type of experience for the listener as she does. Too much scrolling social media shorts and tiktok is ruining everyone's patience and attention spans because people are being trained to expect as much as possible, delivered fast as possible.🐌 slow down, ya'll.. Feel the feels, imagine the imagination... 🐌

The fact that the crown/ring she gets from the frog at the beginning just before she is abducted isn't brought up at all for the rest of the book was very telling. I am definitely going to have to read the next one.

So good and yet despite inevitable hero scenes i was hoping there would be even more rebellion against the evil fae that coukd include her special interest in bugs to help them team up rather than the typical gory slaying of always ugly monsters... like... obviously these giant bugs are no mire willing to be entertainment for the evil fae than the pridoners were. It just seems like theyre a forgotten race being exploited just as much as anyone else's character... so it was disappointing to hear there was nothing more exciting for them other than being boring zero level bosses on level zero instead of being an actual part of the story, maybe even with some actual character...which could have saved for a reveal until later... like... the bug folks hate the fae, and hate the humans too, but for this instance they are able fully or partially (depending on how many trilogies) to put aside their issues to join the rebellion.
Great story, very well prepared, produced and presented. With supernaturally ethereal and Surreal Amazing cover Art illustration. I love the Dragonfly Faerie. I've seen Faerie Folk flying, buzzing by, and straight on they resemble large insects, but if you track them, as they zoom around, With Your Peripheral Vision, You Can See That They ARE FAEN!! Unfortunately I did not like this book as much as the others. I am a 150% fan of your books. I feel like the book did not unfold fast enough. But I will still read the 2 and 3rd because it just got real with her wing popping out. I new something was up with her mom with the tracing the ear. Just to slow. U guys are such top shelf on keeping the twist coming bam bam bam. This book was not like that. Im sorry to sound negative, I just want to give constructive feedback. I cant listen to this. I'm 9 minutes amd thirty seconds ito the story and I've just had my fourth ad break. I feel like ive had more information about temu and dog food than the story.
Why does EVERY SINGLE NARRATOR talk so slow I have to speed up all audiobooks to at least 1.25.. I mean it's almost rude.. Like they think we're so dumb they have to talk at half speed...😒
Agree to disagree, I like my stories at this pace as it feels more relaxed and you can take in the story to imagine the scenes, it wouldn't be much of a narration if it was read at the same pace I can visually read.
Can you imagine a time when we didn't have the option? I can hardly even watch TV.. Now, I have to speed everything up. Once you get used to it, there's no going back.😅

It's for having excellent pronunciation. Chattering like a 15 year old girl doesnt lead to, like , uhmm, good diction.
Add to that folks from North East US talk like coversations are a race.
