I've been using Funk products for many years to control the Rotary heat. After a run, I can hover my hand over the turbo blanket, and it doesn't feel hot at all, only slightly warm. But when I shift my hand towards the uncovered, glowing red Vband, I can't even keep my hand near it for a few seconds. The product controls the heat superbly with amazing quality.
More hear damage there than was visible on the previous vid. Bloody good job you had the funk blanket or could have been a lot more serious! Glad to hear your going to double nut the new clamp. Looking forward to the oulton report after this weekend to see how the latest round of updates faired. 👍🏻
Was debating to use heat management in the engine bay but after watching this it’s made it a must, just wanted an opinion, I’m using gold tape on the induction, then protective sleeves & exhaust wrap but my exhaust mani/downpipe will sit near my radiator what would you recommend to keep exhaust heat away from my radiator? Tia
Indeed I can. But I am planing to make a new one from carbon and sell this. I actualy regret cutting the doors as I have limited number of people who would want to buy them now
Thank you for the kind words Ruski!
Keep up the good work with the car, and on track - you are SLAYING IT out there!
Thanks again!

thank you for the feedback!
My amazon turbo blanket almost caught fire yesterday. Was smoking like crazy. You get what you pay for.
That cabin ventilation is actually pretty smart, I never would have thought of that one lol. I was just planning on running a roof scoop
i hate roof scoops with passion lol
@@RuskiWeldFab 😂 why's that? Just an aesthetic thing?
mainly yes. also they let too much water in when towing in the rain for example. hate them
@@RuskiWeldFab oh that's a good point. Never thought about rain getting in there lol. Might have to reconsider

I know right! It would have been in flames!!

yeah really cant go wrong with a physical heat barrier. like a plate of something in between. ally, stainless. if space permits
Couldn't you cut your trunk lid aswell as you did on the doors
