Hey! That’s interesting! We have a great relationship with Turbosmart. In actual fact, this will help to reduce heat transfer into the diaphragm, so can only be a positive thing :)
@@Funkmotorsport if heat cannot dissipate it remains trapped in the metal and would transfer from the valve housing to the diaphram housing. Turbosmart wastegates feature a stainless steel heat shield at the base of the diaphram housing to protect it from the radiant heat from the valve housing. My question wasn't answered so I'll assume the truth of the matter does not align with your marketing. Thanks

Could you explain why Turbosmart advise against insulating their wastegates? Could it be that the trapped heat causes premature diaphragm failure??
