The only person richer than a Lamborghini owner is his mechanic
I'm crying! Don't know why, but that just caught me, and have tears from laughing so much. Thank you. 😂
And his mechanic learns even more about the repairs while vacationing at his Mansion in Tuscany.
As funny as it is, boats are even bigger money traps. Break Out Another Thousand as they say. Waiting for the wizard to make a series bringing his yacht to boat repair shops. Keep the train going
but hey, if you cant afford it, dont buy it
@@delbomb3131 isn't the idea that he'll learn to repair them himself? that's what I expected ayway
The tow truck guy really seems like a great person
His NAME is DENNIS
You would be in a good mood too if every time you came to hoovies it meant a big ass pay day
Dennis needs 2 start his own youtube channel
I like Magic Mike. You can tell he needs more camera time to feel comfortable but he's got a good personality, just like the Wizard
I was just wondering when Mike will start his own channel?
@@BeenThereOverItNow probably when Car Wizard turn into a 24/7 boating person and he takes over lol
Hoovie: "...Unless a tornado comes through and takes out all of my cars, there's no way all the cars would get taken out at once."

This is an underrated comment.
Living in Oklahoma, I know that It's a definite possibility!
This comment is totally underrated. He lives in Kansas as well as I do, and it's a very real thing that can happen. At the least, we worry about hail damage.
I live in Pittsburgh PA, the only thing I have to worry about is RUST. Kills cars in one winter if you're not careful lmao. Oh, and potholes. Rust took my first car :_: It was a good car too. . . well IMO, others may not appreciate a 92 Oldsmobile Bravada that was family owned for 25 years. XD
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the best comment!!!
I can’t imagine how well a hoovie yacht fleet will go. “Today we sunk our 3rd yacht”
I bought another hooptie yacht and all I have is this lifejacket.
"theres a small hole in the hull..."
Go to the car wizards channel, it’s basically that
Scuba Wizard profits to be made.
No. They would never get off the slipway :-)
This video alone is the exact reason why I love this channel. Buying cars that are 1 owner away from being sent to the scrap yard, spending unreasonable amount of money to fix them, then in the end crossing your fingers that you've made a profit if you sold the car. And seeing how much money and time goes into this channel makes this one of the best (or dumbest) on UA-cam!
Hey, he is full of money. I love him and his channel, but this is just a show for the people. 200k for the repairs in a year? Yeah right. He's got millions of dollars, there's nothing to worry about.
I think he should get a dealer license and just make that his thing. He can basically be Doug demurro but for reviewing a car for a year, and then list the car on Autotempest or cars and bids and there wouldn't be a shortage of people willing to buy a car that Hoovie irons out and features on UA-cam.
@@ivanjovanovic362 It's not so much about him "having" the money. What matters it that this is how he makes his money. Just like a furniture company spends a lot on wood, he spends a lot on repairs.
@@tomifg No. He loses the money on these cars when he sells them, bcs they cost him too much to repair and his paying a mechanic to do it for him. Idk how much he makes from YT, but he is losing money on cars. And he can keep doing that bcs he already have all the money in the world you'll ever need, so this is just fun.
@@ivanjovanovic362 No. What I meant is this is the cost of making his youtube videos, which is how he makes his money. The money he "looses" on cars featured on videos are expenses necessary for his channel to make money.
I liked the channel much more when he actually spent time in the cars he bought and used them for a few months. Now we just see a car briefly for a video or 2 and it dissapears. I'm much more interested in long term ownership of specific vehicles
Yeah... I guess it's more profitable this way
I think that worked better with all of his classic American hoopties. While I love euro cars I think they just don’t stay on the road long enough for him to do that before they need more work.
Be good to see them actually getting driven and showing/talking about how they drive
@@GTFour yeah...there is not enough of that on youtube....oh wait.

Start a yacht repair service to level the playing field!
🤣
I lived in the Florida Keys and worked as a 1st Mate on various fishing boats. I learned how to repair and rebuild diesel engines, boat repair, etc But when I couldn't get the engine working I had to call a real marine mechanic - the head mechanic always shows up first in crisply-pressed bright white shirt, crisp-pleated bright pants, and flaming white shoes - none of which had even a drop of oil or a smear of grease anywhere on them. He'd walk around just looking at the engine, but he wouldn't actually touch anything. He'd look at me (as I was responsible for getting the repair done) and he'd say, "mmm hmmm, okay...". After 15 minutes of that he'd send over the real mechanic who well, was covered in grease, oil, and fiberglass shards who would dig in to the engine and then write down the repair cost on a piece of paper and put it in the palm of my hand as we shook hands. That charge was never below $4,000.
Hoovie couldn’t fix a boat even if it came with boat-fixing robots 😂
I'm not sure how large the Yacht Club is in Kansas, but good idea
Too bad Wichita must be the most remote place from any ocean on the north american continent. I´m actually amazed someone bothers to have a yacht at that location.
The Wizard's Shop is just a secondary storage facility for Tyler.
Why do you think the Wizard purchased the lot next door??
That’s just poetic! 😂
"I chose this lifestyle" says hoovie in front of a house with more square footage than a walmart. 😂
Hoovie has awesome mini mansion, probably 5 - 6,000 sq. Ft, not a wal mart
When you mentioned the biggest expence I lapsed into a very Australian thing to say "Bloody Hell Mate!!!" Thanks for allowing me to induldge my passion for cars through your channel, both your atitude and your content are really positive and happy, I wish for you nothing but the best
Hoovie is closer with his tow truck driver than I am with my dad….and he sees him more often, too.
That’s kinda sad. Make sure you don’t allow too much time to pass without reconciliation as life sometimes throws curve balls which can be tragic.
@@aussie2uGA it's not always sad. family can be full of horrible people and there is no reason to reconcile or have good relationship, or any relationship whatsoever. i've been blessed but have seen horrible things in other people's families. it's not all peaches and roses, you know..
@@MyRealName This! My family is close AF, actually run an automotive windscreen/battery/tinting business together with my dad and sister. But we have almost nothing to do with most of our extended family due to them being idiots, drunks, but mostly just annoying drunken idiot assholes.

Plot is very correct. A have a family remember that I never wanted to reconcile with and has passed away, and it is not something that bothers me in any way. I'm probably happier not ever talking to them than if I did even a few times.

Awesome video. One of my favorite things about your channel is your transparency. It is truly helpful to know what these sorts of things cost. Again, thanks for sharing it.
I took possession of my first yacht this summer, I was quite fortunate as it is immaculate condition and even came with both oars.

Concerning your last statement in the video, I'm reminded of the old joke: "My biggest fear is that when I die, my wife sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it."
Hoovies car obsession is helping the Car Wizard's dream of being called a _Rear-Admiral_ and someone who can use the word _flotilla_ on a daily basis. Bless you for helping to make other peoples dreams come true. :D

As I was watching I thought, “That’s a nice prairie style house!” I know the garage was upgraded to a larger one to house the hoopties and the entry stairway was redesigned, but was the original house built from stock plans or was an architect involved? I’m starting to look for an empty lot in KC to build a prairie style house and I have to decide whether I ask a builder to build from a stock plan or work with an architect. Any experiences you’ve had might be helpful.
See that's why I keep coming back to view your videos because your honest !
$170K in a year?! Man, that's insane.
But then again, it's one of the reasons your channel is so awesome.
I guess we pay for it by being hassled with advertisements.
It’s $270k total with the tax and other costs.

I think your wife already knows where all the money is going. Every last one of us is a Hoovie enabler. The difference is the Wizard will make money off of every sale
The wizard has no yacht. You have no understanding of what a yacht is or what the value of one is. A high end 23 foot ski boat is 80 thousand dollars plus. The wizards old beater fiberglass boat that needs bottom paint and all the hoses and sewer lines replaced has a value of 1/8 the ski boat. 45 year old boat engines have little value and the hull value is about zero.
