I'm a 62 y/o man and NOT ashamed to admit your duet of this song was the very first song to ever bring me to tears. I never knew this song even existed until I was on UA-cam and the short version appeared in the video I was watching. Both of you put so much energy and feeling into this song that my heart actually hurt. I just had to find the full version and get the total effect. My wife caught me getting so emotional and asked me what was wrong 😂? All I could do was point to your video 😂. Now this is my favorite song ❤️

@@cherry1311I have always loved music. I'm a retired welder who worked 30 years for the same company here in Texas. We were allowed to have a radio in the beginning but due to conflicts it was taken away. I came up with the idea of having MP3 players to help take our minds off the 100+ degree hot days and 30 degree cold winters. Whatever the temperature was outside, it was the same inside our building. I remember how bad I wanted to quit and just settle for making less money. That was when I thought about the power of music. I realized if I could hear "back to back" songs that I loved, it would help my day go by SO much faster. I searched and downloaded all my favorite songs from the 70's -90's. The magic of those songs was that each one came with a memory. A memory that could take me back in time and place me where I was, what I was doing, what I was seeing and hearing. All of those good memories were the magic of getting me through every day for 30 years ❤
I am quite a bit older then you and I too am crying. This duet was so beautifully sung it also touched my heart. As I am 43 years without my first love and I still miss him.

Great song about someone that does not have the intestinal fortitude to pull it together. Life can be hard, disappointing, and hurtful, but you soldier on.
