The "adjuster rail" is not for the adjustment you are trying to make. Many people appear to misunderstand what this is. It is an integral part of the balancing setup you neglected when you first mounted the camera, an by pure chance you arrived not too far off before you decided to "adjust" it. I've seen one photographer suggest it is there to raise the camera above the level of tall grass for wildlife shots. What an amazing piece of machinery to actually know how tall the grass is in the location where you'll be shooting.
I have some K&F filters and they work superbly. I also decided to give the same K&F gimbal head a go and it arrived today, so far I'm impressed! It feels very solid indeed, looking forward to getting out and giving it a blast!
I got two of the cheaper ones. They seem to work fine even with my old 600mm f4 nikon manual focus lens at over 6000g. I do have to keep check to make sure it remains tight but heck of a savings
Im really struggling now with the weight of my Nikon and Sigma 150-500mm combination. Seems this could be the answer to the strain on my elbows and shoulder. I shoot a lot of fast moving jets

Just bought one from K&F direct, they have an offer code on at the moment,it cost me £53 . Looking forward to using it.

Is the gimbal base solid when screwed down? Does it rock/wobble at all?
