Ok, so I’m NOT looking for speed with this build- I took a baja mini & stuck a 224 predator on it. Stage 1 intake & exhaust. 30 series torque converter. Juggernaut driver & I Put an 8 tooth sprocket on the driven pulley and a 72 tooth sprocket on my rear wheel. I’m running 21” tires. What kind or torque numbers am I looking at here?
Depends on wheel size but that motor will pull through some smaller sprockets than a 212 I can tell you that much! I have a slightly modified Trailmaster with a 223 on it, juggernaut 10t/60t but it can pull a 9/60 on the stock tires, on my outlaw mm80 I'm hauling major dirt with a juggernaut 10/54 and 15x5.00-6 cleats. In my honest opinion it really matters where and how you ride with the Juggernaut. I had it on a 7k rpm 196 build and the juggernaut let me use the entire engine and maxed ratios like 🤪.
@@sidewayzmike I have 2 of them on my shelf waiting for frames, I'll get one on there as soon as I can find one. That's the biggest issue these days, too many motors not enough mini bikes.
I have a 208cc engine with a 7/8 drive shaft I have a 12 tooth clutch running to a 72 rear I'm trying to get as much top speed as possible do I get a clutch with more teeth or drop teeth on the rear sprocket I don't know how many to gain on the clutch or how much to lose on the rear sprocket or which one to change if I only change one?
Bigger drive gear smaller wheel gear will give you more speed if you're bigger drive gear that's connected to the engine spins one time and you have a small gear on your wheel say half the size of whatever you have on your drive shaft one full rotation on your drive gear will spend your half the size wheel gear twice which games do more speed but that also will give you less power to climb Hills so you gain speed but you lose torque and the same goes vice versa
I got a Baja warrior 19in sunf street tires with a 212 hits bout 60 but I’m thinking of putting 40t on the rear and 12-15t on the clutch will I gain more speed?
I have a coleman bt200x and I put 212cc motor and I can't adjust it. I barely touch the throttle and I can't control it goes super fast I fell one's. Changing the gears will help?
Good problem to have. Tall or High - low acceleration, high top speed Low or Short - Fast start, low top speed -- Lower front or add to rear Larger Ratio = Short Gearing // Smaller Ratio = Taller Gearing
@@minibikegarage1577 what type of engine should I be looking for to get a high top speed on my doodlebug db30 then because I'm sick of doing 35 mph I had it doing 45 with my last motor that lost spark which was much better but I want at least 50 55 mph there's a 13 horsepower motor down the road on a snowblower I don't know what to be looking for
@@williamedwards7315 I'd get a predator 212. Those stock 212 motors on baja warriors have been known to hit or approach 55mph with a straight chain set up. Look up minibike gear ratio calculator and you will be able to figure out what sprockets you need to use to hit your top speed your looking for. Let me know what tire size and current sprockets you have. I recommend getting a clutch with one or two more teeth. 2 teeth is about ten miles per hour
Ive watched several on this topic and that was by far the best. Great content thank you!
Thanks I make Motorized Bikes and this is helpful ⚙️🚲⚙️
Ok question i hava a atc with 11 90t sprocket .... What would i need to do on the shaft to get double my torque?

What kind of sprocket would you recommend for speed on a mini bike with a 225r tilloston with a juggernaut torque converter?

which gear ratio is best for predator 420? for a ez go golf cart with 14" wheels and 20" tires, 4" lift
Idk I've never owned that particular set up before
With a 10onthe driven and a 60 on the rear it’s 6-1correct which will give me tons of torque for all hilly area ?
Yup
What if it's 11 to 72 on a 100 105cc
What's the gear ratio to make a mini bike with a 5 horse do 60 mph
There's not enough info to determine that. A 5hps stock briggs won't even get close to 60.

@@williamedwards7315 it would be geared so high you'd burn your clutch out before you even get moving.
