Where the heck is that bee getting all this firepower?! You'd think being able to fire more bullets than the entire world has ever MADE would necessitate being a whole lot bigger than that. Unless those flames around it are actually portals to a crapload of artillery cannons.
Old video, but that's the infernal design of Colonel Longhener, leader of the Donpachi squadron. Hibachi was first used in Dodonpachi as a countermeasure to the player wrecking his army (2nd loop) after finding out that he killed his own comrades in those machines. in Daioujou, Hibachi was somehow reactivated and raided the moon colonies.
And in Dai-Fukkatsu, Godwin Longhener (the descendant of Schwarlitz Longhener from the original Dodonpachi) rebuilds it again, this time into the bee-themed humanoid mecha Zatsuza.
Fans: WTF this shit is impossible Cave: nuh-uh we made it so there's always a spot to go where you wont get killed Fans: WHAT HUMAN IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS!?
@TheMcK777 With Japanese I believe certain words, when combined, the second word's first letter will become its "ten" form. So "ha" becomes "ba", which why we call it Hibachi. Knowing Japan and their puns though, they probably would say this is a barbeque boss. XD
@OmegaWeaponX25 Yes, no-continue the first loop, then fill some requirements ( no score-requirements this time ). The 2nd loop is horrifying though. Before you enter the second loop, all your lives are taken away. You will get one life after you complete a stage.
when you actually play the game, you have to move much more, you can't just stick to the back. He's got some trick up his sleeve. The super replay on the game DVD is much more exciting.
Good job on that. Most people would try and pass that real time playing with a cheat of some kind. That was so cool I was laughing around 2:10...I'd love to see you do that on other games of this genre!!
@TotalMadnesification Yup...but here's the problem with this Hibachi: The correct way to say it would be "hihachi" or something along the lines of that. "Hachi" is bee, while I believe fire is the prefix "hi" just before that. They swapped it out for the "Hibachi" everyone knows today. Just a little trivia.
This is a tool-assisted run, and I doubt "stonelike" did this run, although I do not know exactly who did the run. it's still kind of sad that people are crediting the wrong player
@OmegaWeaponX25 Well, I would guess it would be something around 4x4. When you play a lot, you will know where the hitbox is and how big it is. But this game is still very hellish. You need to be a STG-god ( ISO, SWY etc. ) to clear whole game without use of continues.
@MarurunLEB No kidding...I thought it was actually formally 'Romanized' as Hibachi instead of slang...oh, well. You probably know more about Japanese than I do.
@Sasupoika2 I cant even follow the bullets in habachi's last form, only way ild beat this is if i watched a replay and memorised the player ship positions pixel by pixel plus a whole lot of luck. I bet with patice my eyes would beable to track the bullets better but damn are they fast... DOJ is too hard for me, im more at home with DDP which i can 1cc the 1st loop but someday im gonna go for the 2-ALL, first ild need to get myself an arcade stick though (failing that a saturn usb pad)
I do love the sections where you can just stand in one spot for a good 5-10 seconds and fire away.
It's not a human, but a programmable arcade stick.

A bee. A very, very angry bee.

That is beautiful playing. Very minimalist, if there is such a thing.

It's interesting to see how many gaps there actually are in the patterns.
spoilers you guys: the japanese in the beginning of the video is telling us that this is being done on a programmable stick.

@AManofWitMk2 I think the aracde version was released to the us or world by altus, the ps1 and saturn ports are japan only
He used a programmable controller.
JP Name: Red Bee (True Last Boss)
US Name: Hibachi (True Last Boss)
wow, just wow..
i think that would be pretty much impossible without the program...
i think my mind just died..

開始早々、「ばっちゃん、ばっちゃん!」って言ってるあたりが笑える
いや大方「Watch out」なんだろうが
its just a matter of training the patterns
I would like to see these games on all consoles with to see the players stages as a best level/time session.
love the music anybody know the name?
Three themes. The first is "Koryū," the second is "Burn Yourself," and the last one is "Hibachi."
This video is beautiful, down with Hibachi. :)
Bullet hell games...perfect for testing your luck.

hibachi means in real a kind of a BBQ
Dear. God. In. Heaven.
His hitbox must be like 1 pixel in size. O.o

네 다음 TAS, ps2 에뮬레이터가 지원되지 않았을 시절에 이 영상 분명히 봤는데 ㅋㅋ 엑플 쳐 써놓은 주제에 영상 설명 허세 졸라 쩌네
thanks =)
Eh... I find this TLB Bee Bitch easier than Arrange A Hibachi in DDP Daifukkatsu...
Luckily Hibachi's theme isn't faster or else someone would've had a heart attack while fighting the mad bee.
Oh my god !! This player didn't use any cheat or invulnerability codes ? He is a real " god. "
he did.
고전 띵작.
근데 이제 핵을 곁들인
strikers 1945 no match here
