I just need to hint those weird minifigs from lego series like jack stone and 4+ pirates from around that time. Those figurines had noses and even ears, but you know, you can think of them much like most People think about minidolls from friends series.
Lego figures should have always remained yellow. This is said as someone who is brown and grew up with little representation. Yellow always felt incredibly inclusive.
I love the yellow figures and i do think they are the most inclusive. However i don't mind choice and variety as long as there are more yellow figures than non yellow figures.
@@zsomborszarka2616 I guess since bright yellow isn’t a natural skin colour it can basically represent every race. I’ve only ever seen minifigs with human skin colours if they are a licensed character
Because as explained in this video, our minds fill the gaps in stuff such as the missing nose and ear print. Plus, Voldemort doesn't have a nose print, he has a nose holes print
I would love to see a future LEGO Batman Penguin figure using the Pinocchio head to give him a more recognizable look (and also remember that the character isn't always short, just the Batman Returns Devito Penguin)
Oswald is usually at least a bit below average height for an adult male; but generally not danny devito short. Though 'The Batman's' penguin was pretty close to Devito's in stature.
6:28 I don't think they really would since the figures look too cartoony for modern Technic sets, which are trying to look more realistic, and yes, I know what Speed Champions is, in that theme, the minifigures still look too cartoony for their cars.
I don't think that would be a problem considering the possibility for realistic skintones and prints nowadays. I think it's more about the model scale. Technic models have a huge variability in their scale towards the real life counterparts even inside the same series of models. That was largely not the case when those technic figures were introduced. One other reason is probably the target demography. People who enjoy Technics, tend to do it for their mechanical prospects and interactivity, rather than roleplaying an imaginary character or one from their favourite movie. On that note, I'd be glad if they came back. I really loved the extra difficulty of trying to create something strictly limited by the scale of the figures. I only ever owned two of them and one got lost and the other I accidentally gave away because I hadn't inspected my mishmash box thorough enough.
In your next "lego sets with an absurd number of pieces" series, you should include the 622 black technic pins in the Maserati p1 (im building it currently)
@@redrex6642 If you think the line is a nose, then the lower part is really cursed looking mouth, but there's no way that kind of moustache would reach the chin. While Lego does some wacky characters (one example being the left one in the same scene) there's no way they would go full in to chin moustache wacky.
I had so much fun with those Technic figures: I'd love to see them come back. As for Voldemort, he has nostrils, but no nose. This is visible in the movie screenshot you posted, and every Voldemort figure has the same, except for the Dimensions one, which has nothing printed there at all.
Minifigures with noses just looks uncanny if anything just looks wrong like in cartoony art with a person having a nose just- looks- just no ofc WITH execptions, thats all no (don't hate on me please these are just my opinions)
Lego also rarely does colored sclerae. Aside from licensed series and some really early exceptions, the most recent ones they did were Exo-force's minifigs (keeping in with the mecha anime inspiration).
The Lego Artemis rocket has a secret in the two large deflectors in front of the rocket because inside them has a octan or a country flag I can't tell I hope you can
In Canada at least, we use the term "Indian" way more, my grandma says it and so does a lot of other elders, it's also the official term our government uses. Native or Indigenous are both used more commonly in schools and speech however because it can get confusing with people from India.
Splitbrix needs to work on his pronounciation of Nygaard. Use the spoken feature of google translate or something. The y in Nygaard is pronounced as yggdrasil or ypsilon. The aa is pronounced as oo in door.

Ears have also been implied by the first Minifigure Hairpieces, which always had a cutout for them.
Hahaha - at 7:46 - I had that minifig as a kid and always saw that nose as a mouth with a hefty soul patch. I still can't unsee that...
MINIDOLLS… they all have noses
I just need to hint those weird minifigs from lego series like jack stone and 4+ pirates from around that time. Those figurines had noses and even ears, but you know, you can think of them much like most People think about minidolls from friends series.
Lego figures should have always remained yellow. This is said as someone who is brown and grew up with little representation. Yellow always felt incredibly inclusive.
I feel like for the licensed sets they should be colored however I do believe that the non-licensed themes should have yellow miniatures.
@moonshade111 I thought this is how it is?
@ what do you mean
I also remember the original Squidward head was a regular head printed on a minifigure, complete with nose, before it changed to moulded
It's been a treat to see all that Lego has accomplished and improved on.
7:03 that was my first ever Lego set
Most minifigs with noses/ears seem to be licensed characters so it would be weird for them not to have noses
So why are so many Harry Potter, Star Wars and others minifigures without noses then? They're licensed too.
@@CalmoOmlac hmm, non human licensed characters then.
@@richardperks7776 Still doesn't work. In star wars there are non human figures without noses

It will always disturb me that LEGO decided to show that Voldemort has no nose, by giving him a nose. Just. WHY?!
Ironic but effective
Because as explained in this video, our minds fill the gaps in stuff such as the missing nose and ear print.

GREAT SPITBRIX LEGO MINIFIGURES DON'T HAVE NOSES
Good joke Aaron
0:14 all of them are Pinocchio faces
The Lego gru mini figure doesn’t have a nose even though in the movie he does have a nose
Ofc the one that needs it doesn't get one
So does Luke Skywalker, I double checked and he absolutely does have a nose in the movied! How deep does this nose thievery go?!

EXCELLENT SPITBRIX WORK. 😊😊😊
Legos yellow, Simpsons yellow, Minions yellow. What next gonna be YELLOW🟡
The cop/surfer minifig head with the sunglasses is, in my opinion, the first one with an implied nose.
What about the Lego Jackstone minifigures? no mentions of them, even though the y had both nose and ears
Hey you forgot to mention Lego's early 1980s fabuland mini figures which were anthropomorphic mini figures with animal heads
Are the patent posters originals? Because I got the brick one for my cousin for Christmas and it looked a lot like it.

The Jack Stone minifigures also have noses and ears!
new spitbrix video?!! awh yeahhh 🔥🔥
What about the lego Jack Stone Figures? They have molded ears and nose
7:43 That's not a nose on the right. That is a mouth and a soul patch or some such beard under it.
Yeah, i was literally like he didn't just say that's a nose
If you look at the mouth nose it makes it easier to see it as a nose you’re supposed to look at the eyes or mustache beard

One small correction. The minifig heads actually predate the body we know today.
