This is pointless most foreigners are right here in USA without any tourist visa.Im born and raised in America I didn’t even know we had a tourist visa because they just let everyone come in but the Philippines,Thailand,China and many other eastern countries us Americans cannot just go over there with nothing and expect to be let into the country.
its high time the philippines just lets americans married and with children and homes in philippines to stay HOME without all this extensions and visas and bs.
and its high time the usa allows filipinos to have 30 day free visa for tourist, biden is allowing 12 million dangerous persons in in 4 years just by walking across the border !

My last non immigrant visa expired last 2013 but before it expired I was able to use it(year 2001 and year 2009) and visited relatives in the US twice within the 10 years validity ang I didn't violate my stay in the US I never overstayed there....Now I'm planning to renew or apply another non immigrant visa and I was told that I can no longer use the dropbox for renewing,that I need to schedule for an interview to apply for a tourist visa again....My question is will it be easy for me to get a renewal because I never over stayed in the US before,2nd I'm on my late 50's and I never plan to work there because of my age and my plan is to retire here

So with this all being said for me a disabled veteran would be better to file a resident visa for my wife and stepson compared to a B1 visa? We have been married for 13 years and have two kids and we have been thinking about going to the US just to see my side of the family for a month or two. Just seems it would be an easy thing as she takes care of me as I am disabled from military service and our kids and I are Americans as well as Filipino.
If you do not plan on moving to the US or at least staying for years they will deny the Resident visa application during the interview. Its a catch 22. They won't give a resident visa and the US government makes it extremely difficult for a spouse to get a tourist visa. Good luck. I'm in the same predicament.

$$$ and with 75% of Filipinos have $10,000 and less in net worth, the majority of Filipinos cannot qualify for a vacation visa in the USA.

It depends on your proof of wealth, social and economic ties and your proof of previous travels. I have known people who had grave reasons to visit (very close relatives like grandparents, parents, siblings who had terminal illnesses). They had been denied of tourist visa.
Be prepared to show overwhelming proof you intend to return to the Philippines, anything short is a waste of motion and application fee! If you have travel history, a business, job or source of income, home, familial ties which are all positive reasons but not necessarily exclusive for approval. Good luck!
It depends on a lot of factors but you must prove that you have home ties - job, family and social ties, etc.
It is all about MONEY hehehehe even most of them are qualified to travel in a good good intention but at the end DENIED...
