I’ve just bought one these for my flat an where I work they have Gaggia an your absolute right we had from brand new it was constantly going wrong.

Always put fresh water in the water tank, don't let it sit for a day or two.
Better use a transparent glass to see what is happening when make coffe
Yes, it would have been better, but i didn't had a coffee transparent glass... and i didn't used a regular glass because i would break from the hot coffee...

The portafilter is small - will hold around 16-17g of coffee maximum

It's not a button, it's a red circle, and is red when is preparing the coffee and then turns blue, or the coffee machine it's out of water.

mine just blinks red when i turn it on, even after 20 min.
