Boy… WHAT A SHOWDANCE!!!! The pizzazz, the flair, the detailing, just loved it. She truly has never failed to amaze and wow me. So happy she made it to the finals, have been watching her for as long as I can remember
Sarah was incredible wow 👏🩰💜, totally in her element here 🎶.
Vito doesn’t get enough credit for what a wonderful dancer he is. Vito all the way!
Score - *10*
That's how you finish the showdance off, Sarah's strong point has always been her lifts and this was like a big finish for them of things we've never seen before, that was so difficult and it looked so easy. The core strength and control to pull this off is an insane level and she did it at such ease. Not to mention her confidence to start in the podium with such sass and pizzazz needed for this was so admirable for all she's went through, like the rest she's an inspiration too, Vito aswell is just a gift that keeps on giving
Vitos show dances are always incredible the 3 years he has been in the final! And well done to Sarah for dancing with him so spectacularly!
Outstanding performance and choreography and to keep up that energy level throughout was mind blowing.
Love Vito! He really brought the best out of Sara this year, and made her shine! One of the best pros I've ever watched.
Exactly. She always delivered and was under-marked throughout the series.
This was my favorite showdance of the night!!! A well deserved 40!!!!
Amazing!!! I love so much Sarah and Vito and I can’t wait to see what they’re going to do in tour ❤️❤️❤️ This dance was superb! 🙌
Sarah being undermarked this series has made me so sad, I'm so please she achieved 40 tonight. Her routines have been so difficult but super enjoyable, she's brought so much charisma ❤
I do think the series has finally caught up with Sarah who always had the hardest choreography thank god she go 40 in the end as for Chris to get 40 and not Sarah would have been unforgivable.
@joshjones5062 yea I agree, can't believe after weeks of comments of "it's too perfect and too technical" she gets a 40 for a routine that went wrong, all that nitpicking for nothing. Really enjoyed this series.
Vito might be the pro with the best running track record ! Just found out he also won Italy version 🙌🏻
What is a showdance with out lifts ey... they did so well ❤ loved them so much
Sarah is truly amazing!! What a great partnership with Vito!!!
Going to miss the sheer joy & smiles Vito & Sarah have brought me this year. I hope they do something comedic together, their chemistry is too good to waste❤❤❤❤❤❤
Completely agree, these 2 brought so much excitement amd fantastic routines 😊👍💖.
All four finalists did so well. I wish they could all get a glitter ball trophy lol
As do I! They were all so good, that I was going to clap no matter who the winner was announced to be. Of course, I was a bit upset that my favorite Sarah didn't win, but I'm so happy for Chris and Diane.
This and Tashas show dance were my favourite. When you think SHOW DANCE this is what you see - very impressive athleticism from Sarah which she’s shown all series. 10
Our scores:

40/40
I’m so happy they went down the musical theatre route, this is perfect for Sarah, she did Liza Minnelli justice. The lifts and tricks as always, outstanding, but she owned this number. Absolutely fantastic work.
Since they only posted the Showdance videos, I’ll briefly comment on their other two dances. Both got 40 from us.
American Smooth- Sarah has got a lot to be proud of! A massive improvement. Better footwork, so much more breath in the upper body, the tightness was gone, Shirley did a great job coaching Sarah. And Vito’s trousers bursting left me in fits of laughter.
Cha-cha-cha- this was the most iconic moment of icons week, and it’s one of the most iconic moments of the series. Sarah kicked that routine’s backside as Craig said.
Sarah and Vito have been a highlight of the year for me. They have been so entertaining, I’ve laughed so much, their partnership was one of the best we’ve seen in 20 years. I’ve said “wow” so much watching them dance I’ve lost count. I’m going to miss them SO MUCH. At least they’ve still got the tour. Sarah’s growth in confidence has been so inspirational to so many people, she has proven you should never put limits on yourself, and hard work pays off dividends. What a woman, what a partnership, and what a SERIES.
She’s crazy good! Give us more theatrical performances PLEASE!
Holy bejeezus! I absolutely LOVED it!!! Well done, Team Chaos! ❤🎉
🤣love that, Team Chaos!!!lol
Sooooooooo good!!! What incredible choreography! ❤️
When are the other dances from the final uploaded?
I was thinking the same! Strange as normally they do!x
I’m waiting for those, too. I’ve been watching from across the pond for the last two years, and I am *beyond* disappointed NOT to be able to see 2/3 of last night’s dances!!! 😢
@@MsKatyDod yes I'm surprised, but there must be a reason.
fab, you may not have won the trophy but I think watching your vts' you both have won in different ways
❤🎉 Beautiful dance with Vito and Sarah. Wonderful performance this season.👋 Watching from coastal Mississippi 🧔
It is one of my favourite dances of that night!
I thought Sarah was going to launch herself off that podium at the beginning - glad she got a 40 last night - both Sarah and Vito thoroughly deserved to be in the finals 😊👍
My favourite showdance ever
Perfect. 10/10
Doesn't look like the other dances are getting uploaded but I'd have scored her American Smooth 9 and her Cha Cha 10, Sarah has been amazing and had such confidence growth, and Vito really has the cleanest track record ever, the queen of lifts she is 💫💖
She was my winner
The beeb can't give out the full results but I have a feeling this pair was the runners up, this Dance took a while to get going but boy those lifts!!
I wasn't feeling this so much, it didn't wow me. The lift at the end was daring/special and she pulled it off amazingly. I do love how much energy she brings to each performance though. And I love Vito :)
INSANE 🙌🏼
im gonna miss watching their routines every week :')
I loved this dance so much
Me 10
Dad 10
Mum 10

Bravissimo bravi uno spettacolo
Incredible 🎉❤
Now that amazing get her in westend
Amazing❤❤
There isn't an obvious place to post my comments, so I'm going to post them as one under each of the couple's Showdances.
It seems there are no videos of the Judges' Choice or Couple's Choice dances from the final, only from the weeks they were originally danced. That seems a bit lazy/lame to me, but maybe it's a victim of the spending cuts the BBC are perpetually having to make.
Fab-u-LOUS final! Lots of poignant and fun little moments alongside the dancing, such as; the judges coaching the finalists, particularly Craig coaching Chris and Dianne; the VTT where Chris and Dianne each explain what the other has meant to them (we were in tears); Craig's poem to Chris; Nessa!!!; and Tasha's brother turning up from Australia.
I was surprised that two of the Couple's Choice routines were chosen in the Judges' Choice category, given that there are no rules in these dances, and they usually garner higher scores than the set Ballroom/Latin/Speciality dances. I think it would be fairer and more competitive for the judges to pick from among the set dances. Anyway, neither of Tasha's or Chris's CCs scored higher than JB's VW or Sarah's AS on Saturday night.
I also thought it was odd that two of the dances chosen in the Judges' Choice category had initially garnered a score of 9101010 39 (JB's VW and Tasha's CC), where hardly any improvement was required, and that of these, JB's dance was from Week 11, Musicals Week, the Quarter Final - only two weeks ago. The dances chosen for Chris and Sarah in this category made much more sense as they had both garnered 33 points on their first outing, and both were from Week 8. At least Tasha's CC was from week 7.
I know they are always tinkering with the format to 'keep it interesting and relevant', but I prefer how the Judges' Choice was managed in the past. The judges would pick dances from earlier in the season, dances which didn't necessarily score that highly, and where the scope for improvement in both routine difficulty and dance ability was great given how far the couple had since come. Then, the judges would debate their choices with one another, giving clear criteria for improvement to the couples. It wasn't then a given that the couple would get 3 or 4 10s, they would get a score representing their improvement. The only problem was that sometimes the earlier dances the judges picked required a greater change in choreography to reflect the contestant's improvement, than the later dances they had picked for the other contestants. They could get round any vast discrepancies by either picking dances from roughly the same weeks or with roughly the same scores. I would definitely keep the individual judges training the couple for the judges' choice, though, as this was a meaningful addition and it made good viewing.
Maybe it has been decided that the couples don't have time and energy to devote too much to the judges' choice at this final stage in the competition, and maybe the emphasis is now on the Showdance, with the rest being a celebration of how far they have each come, but I feel the creeping tendency/pressure in recent years to award all 10s in the final is at the expense of a real sense of competition, which was present in the past.
Anyhow, all this aside, it was a great final, one of the best, and my fave dances were as follows:
Judges' choice: 1. Sarah and Vito. 2. Chris and Dianne
Showdance: 1. Tasha and Aljaž - routine, outfits, stage design, music 👌 I think this is possibly THE best dance I've seen on SCD. 2. JB and Lauren - simply great! I loved the pure fun nature of Chris and Dianne's Showdance.
Couple's choice: 1. Sarah and Vito and Tasha and Aljaz tied.
I have really opened my eyes to Tasha's star quality the past two or three episodes, and she really shone on Saturday night. For me, she is the best and most natural dancer of the four finalists, and I don't really care whether she has had dance experience or not, I am just thankful that I got to see her dance.
I was a little disappointed by Sarah and Vito's Showdance. They were my favourite couple for some weeks going into the final, and I was really looking forward to this routine as I love the film Cabaret. So, I was expecting something more obviously inspired by the 1972 musical film - a routine involving Berlin/Weimar Republic era cabaret motifs, as well as Bob Fosse signature styles such as finger-snapping, bowler hats, gloves, fishnets, canes, chairs, turned-in knees and jazz hands. I know this style has been done before on Strictly, but I'm not familiar with Joe Stilgoe and Metropole Orkest's version of Cabaret that they danced to and I've researched it online but I'm not getting any clear references so I'd be interested to know what Vito took for inspiration for this routine. I thought the lifts were amazing but I found Sarah a little stiff and unstable at times compared to her other dances and I didn't think their outfits gelled. Also, Sarah really doesnt suit that short, straight bob style and I found it detracted visually from the dance as it did every time the hair department gave her short hairdos. She suits perfectly long, wavy, fringeless hair! I shall watch the routine a few more times and see if my opinion changes.
Chris and Dianne were more than worthy winners - absolutely the right result. What these two have achieved is nothing short of amazing. I think Chris far exceeded most people's expectations and he truly 'opened our eyes' to what people with disabilities can achieve. Let's hope it's a game-changer and alters people's often casual or prejudiced perceptions.
Very insightful points
@Amy_M_G Thank you so much for taking the trouble to read them and to write that.
Merry Christmas!🎄❤️
Happy Christmas to you too@@ME-Oxon
Where’s the Judges Choices and the Favourite dances?
I was wondering this too!
@@killermcmurderer6707 I’ve been watching from the US for the past two years. This is the first time that ONLY the Show Dances from the Final have been posted on UA-cam.
I am SOOO disappointed!! It’s simply unfair to allow those of us watching the entire series from outside the Uk become so very invested, only to FAIL us at the last minute like this!!
I’m hoping against hope that all of the other dances will be posted tomorrow. Why omit 2/3 of the Final episode like that???
What a pisstake, strictly is going downhill each year
@Person-k3oI've also asked where they are.
Scores:
Craig 9
Motsi 10
Shirley 10
Anton 10.
Total: 39/40
Next is Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola dancing their Showdance.
Out of all the show dances I liked this one the least, it reminded me a little too much of Sarah's Madonna Cha Cha Cha dance to similar also the bad wig on Sarah made Sarah look like Shirley which was too distracting, however I have loved this pair on the show since day one and if Chris had not come on the show this year I would have wanted this pair to win, love you both, Well Done to Sarah Hadland & Vito Coppola for being amazing in the show an with there dancing.
I agree with you and am pleased I'm not the only one! My fave couple but I liked this one the least as well and wrote a bit about it in my (long!) comment above.
❤❤❤❤
FAB U LOUS !!!

37/40
I don’t know; I didn’t get the vibe from this. It seemed tentative as though he was just picking her up and placing her down. There was very little dancing compared to the other three. I loved them as a couple but this one wasn’t for me.
Totally agree.
voted for sarah all the way through & shame she didn't win but don't begrudge chris & di at all because he came through adversity to win , as long as the one with dance experience didn't win lol 😂😂😉😉
Sarah had dance experience 🙄 Chris was the only novice so why's it different for Sarah than JB & Tasha?
@pennyandfishy7241 sarah went to drama class which incorporates a little dance in it not the same at all , jb had danced in music videos which ok isn't the same as, but tasha stood out even to a novice that she had dance experience & apparently she put on that love island bio she was a processional dancer 🤨🙄
Usually love everything from them but this was underwhelming, bad wig didn't help.
Yes, I'm sad that I feel the same way but I just envisaged something different perhaps. It didn't help that the music actually set off my tinnitus so maybe it's a bit of grumpiness at my own infirmities as well! I still love her and can't wait to see that AS again.
All orchestrated by the bbc to make her lose
Agree.
@snufkinhollow318 Sorry about that! I agree with you, I was expecting something more like the Cabaret film from 1972 - Berlin/Weimar Republic era feel, bowler hats, canes, chairs, gloves, jazz hands - Bob Fosse, basically!
She should have was it was a farce
:)
I thought this one was the wrost Because Wynne and Pete and Jamie and fire was way better
not as bad as your spelling
