Hey Untamed, you probably have heard about fellow youtuber channel (The Car Care Nut). He was a Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician, I thought it was worth mentioning him, he has a great video on his channel titled (Should you buy a Toyota LC? What makes them so good?). Good watch for people who wants to learn why LC’s are so good and expensive. Big fan of Toyota brand here and cool cars in general. Keep bringing different view, information and rotation)) on cars and car business. Much appreciated
When are you getting new BFGs? Also, my white 200 series LC sold yesterday to a young couple that already has an 80 series. Thanks for posting my ad to your story a few weeks ago Micky.
Thanks For another great video, only folks who really know what a LandCruiser is would buy one because it’s the last vehicle you would ever need 🤙🏻🤙🏻😎,
Carguru in particular has a huge issue with classification. Happens with other cars there too, like the GT350 and GT350R. I’m not clear if it’s a carguru issue or dealer issue. Could be dealers trying to game the value metrics algo.
Yep, I totally did pass up under the MSRP offer on a ‘21 silver HE LC back in the day. Did I need it? NO! Did I want it? Of course! I ended up purchasing a ‘22 TRD Pro 4R for MSRP and I am happy with the outcome. Everything happens for a reason.
I'm very eager to see what happens with the LX600. What was just a few months ago super rare, and sales WELL above MSRP with major markups... Now there's 6 of them of various trims sitting for sale at my local Lexus dealer for sale (and a few used for sale). Already seeing some markdowns even (albeit small), which makes me think we might see a similar sales demand as the prior gens. Not QUITE an apples to apples comp to the Land Cruisers, but it's the closest we got at this point I guess until Toyota figures out what they will do for their future releases. My local Toyota dealers owner has a Heritage Edition and leaves it sitting in the front of the lot everyday to get lookers in the door. Of course, not for sale. I also know of one obscure dealer that has a brand new Heritage sitting on the show room floor with 10 miles that's not for sale as well (got to sit in it when I bought my SO TRD Pro 4Runner from them). Already inquired about it, and mentioned that they will never sell it.
ALL of the car gurus listings are Heritage not so with Autotrader. It seems car gurus may not have any other option for sellers but Heritage Editiion. I contacted a couple of the dealers from car gurus and they confirmed the units were not Heritage editions. The small market for these gives me pause.
In 2020 there were available all day at $78.5k, I would jump at the chance to buy one again at $90k. I’m 2021, I bought mine at $85k+tax and $2k in tire upgrades then sold for $98k in 2022. I would buy one again just have difficulty having $100k car. For now kept my 100 series, can’t justify a 4Runner as it’s like a 100 w/updated tech and look.
I wouldn’t worry too much about what you paid for it, seems like the profits of the others have help pay the, as what Dave Ramsey would say “Stupid Tax” to get back into what you wanted. I also feel as time goes on and V8’s fade into history that the values on LC200’s will remain strong as it will be marked in history as the last of the greats.
@@DeLay_fun haha well it’s a problem if you don’t have a physical address there and don’t pay state income tax. Wyoming doesn’t have an income tax so it’s a trade off for sure… but with how many vehicles I buy, it’s always made sense to keep my primary in OR. I’ll likely switch my primary to WY this year though.
99% of LC owners are just going to the mall and grocery store. Not actually off-roading. Paying $105,000 for a dated 21 LC is nutty to me. I’d rather get a 2023 LX600 F sport for 5K more is all I’m saying. People act like they’re going to keep their LC for 20 years but we all know people don’t. @@scottwhitehurst6055
The people who say they will keep their car "forever" never will... most of the people who buy these LCs are mostly for show. I'd argue any of them actually use them for what they are intended to.

Thanks brother 🙏🏼
Yeah I’ve watched a lot of his content, he’s awesome. =]
Fact is, the prices are high because the owners “who know what the LC is about”, don’t have anything to replace it with.
What's a better choice? 1 newish 2021 Heritage Edition Land Cruiser, or 2 (his and hers) new TRD Pro 4 Runners?
did you get a full 3 year new warranty from toyota with this 21 LC? thanks
No I did not
Do you recall what the VIN number difference is for an authentic Heritage Edition?
Prices don’t appear to be going down. I should have bought one new for $89k years ago.

Awesome that’s great to hear! My pleasure Mike!

TOYOTA LANDCRUISER ❤

There were a couple 21 base models with ~200 miles that quickly went for $100k last week.
You are a awesome person, because you are crazy like me 😂
Haha thanks man 🙏🏼

Keep it; get rid of the van. Get a new raptor.
One day…

Ugh high 90s.... I'm looking for mid 40s lol
What’s with the Oregon tags??
I have a residence in OR. Pay OR income tax but able to register vehicles there at a cheaper rate. 👍
I’ve heard this before. I was wondering if it was something I could get away with 🤣🤣

I could never spend that on a LC. Who would ever buy this over Lexus LX600
The LX is vastly different… different strokes for different folks. 🤷♂️
I have a Lexus GX460 black like edition. I’d pay more for an actual Land Cruiser Prado. It’s a Toyota thang! 😂
Better approach and departure angles. There’s a kit to convert but it is enormously expensive.
