I know literally no one will see this but, I want to thank the creator of this video profusely. This video has helped me so much over the past few years. The song is perfect for studying and for calming you down after a bad day especially when slowed. I have never played a hat in time but I plan to one day and it wouldn't surprise me if I genuinely cried when hearing this song. Tysm and much love to everyone
Beautiful. Music is very strong (: I've also never played this game, on spotify va11-ha11a soundtrack popped up and I loved it and immediately downloaded that game and this one is now showing up on my spotify and I will definitely get it..I've heard of this game before but wasn't aware that it's music was this beautiful
i never write comments, last time i wrote one was a few years ago but i feel like i have to say something. i love this song so much as well. it's been with me in my toughest times over the past 3 years. ok thats all i had to say bye
This game bring memories of me playing Mario Sunshine and those levels that feel like if you fall you will fall forever in an infinite space, that sensation of emptiness, but this song with that feeling is like being in a dream where if you fall, you will be forever in that dream and never wake up, this is the thing i love of A Hat in Time, the good soundtrack and the atmosphere are so well mixed that you only wish to play it for the first time again.
Or "The deep clocktowers beneath the abyss" Instead of the whale swimming about, we get those crazy abyssal fishes. However, they dont pose a threat, but rather create a similar calming environment.
You slowly drift into an unknown deep sea. You realize that you can breathe. "Is this a dream?" You ask yourself. You want to swim back up, but are unable to do so. You continue drifting down. You then sea wierd ice like bricks. They are huge. You see them formated in a specific way. You see a small kid with a hat traversing these blocks of wonder with no shame. She looks like she's trying to reach an hourglass floating in this blankspace your in. You then look around to find something appealing to your eyes. Yes. You see something. It's a bit blurry, but you see that it has a tall building like shape. You then hear music. Calming music. Music coming from what you think may be clocktowers. Clocktowers beneath the sea.
I'm curious as to how you got it to be so slowed without any of the audio sounding crushed. This was/is one of my favorite songs from AHiT and hearing it slowed makes it sound really soothing.
It's pretty simple. I took the sound track and ran it through Audacity's speed changer. Most video editors do it on a frame-by-frame basis, which is why it sounds like garbage.
I first thought it was made like an equivalent of frame interpolation -> create frame 1.5 out of frame 1 and frame 2, basically frame 1.5 consists of 50% opacity of first frame before and the second one after, just fed between those two and all sped up by 100% since you double the frame count or you double the playback fps.
this reminds me of back when i played AHiT for the first time, when i was a kid, and now, 5 years later, here i am. those were good memories, i genuinely miss those times.
I still can’t believe a hat in time released almost 5 years ago, I remember first getting it and being so excited to play it for the first time. I love this game the same as I did 5 years ago.
Sounds a bit like Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence from the movie of the same name. Particularly any orchestral covers of the song, where Ryuichi Sakamoto plays the piano himself.

I don't own the rights to this song, and the process I used to make this is pretty simple. For the means of how I made it, I just took the original song and turned the speed down by half. For the rights of the song, Pascal Michael Stiefel owns them, and as long as you don't monetize your videos, you're in the same legal situation that I would be in. Honestly, I'd contact him if you were to want to monetize videos and have any version of an AHIT song within the video.
Run it at double speed and the distortions make it sound likes it's actually being played beneath the sea.
it actually sounds really cool
sounds like the original but baratone
someone edit this upload it to their channel
It sounda creepy bleghhh
Woah its actually good
>plays at double speed
cha cha real smoth
Playing this at double speed , syncrhonised with the orignal song = perfect
It's really cool sounding actually
*distortion sounds*
Calming. Like letting yourself drift down in an ocean you can breathe in.

stoned fish
that is one of my childhood dreams, i wish i could breath underwater to be able to do just that
Like something straight out of Abzu
untill u freeze to death and are crushed to death by water pressure lmao
I have not played Hat in Time yet, but it has already created incredible lasting memories from its music alone.
You owe it to yourself to try it out. Fantastic game bursting with charm
@@MaximumLowBlow As much as I want to try mod support, I'm waiting for it on switch. My PC will not be able to run it well enough
Do it! Do it!
It's a fantastic game, believe me.
Even with my shitty old PC which ran at like 15 fps, I loved it.
I wish it gets more attention.
@@XerKoro_neo I'd recommend the PC version due to mods, but if ya can't then yeah. It's my favorite 3d platformer

The type of level has a name. They are "collectathon secrets"
Secret areas in collecting platformers
that sounds like an theme that play at the end of the game i would call it then:"the last clocktowers beneath the sea"
Or
"The deep clocktowers beneath the abyss"
Instead of the whale swimming about, we get those crazy abyssal fishes. However, they dont pose a threat, but rather create a similar calming environment.
maybe just the last clocktowers
“Midnight’s toll of the abyss” maybe
@@jasoncheung2973 Just gonna say, you win this whole reply thread. That's a grand title for a track like this.
It's perfectly soothing. x0.5 speeding the original creates strange parts but this smooths things out perfectly
Not like the winter forest theme in this game... *Shudders at the thought of Queen Vanessa's manor*
*_shudders_*
WHO DARES ENTER MY HOME?
Subcon forest
I wish there was an option to have Vanessa's manor not make it into a horror game
Ralsei The Fluffy Boy not me. I may have been spooked by it, but I loved it. Besides, you don’t need every time piece,
The sound of flying into the night sky, searching for a star

I should become a writer.
Thank you. now I can finally sleep...

It's actually kind of creeping me out... Please wake up...
the majestic 9 month nap
Hes been asleep for a year now.... is... is he? trapped inside this world?!
Don't worry he's just listening the clock ticking..forever
Now I want a remix with a ticking clock in the background 🤔
This sounds like end of the final day from majoras mask.
Sounds more like Astral Observatory
@@Vitor20XX Yeah now that i think about it it kind of does
Kinda sounds like something out of oneshot to me
Sounds like somethign like that or something out of undertale or deltarune.
... Wow. I didn't know this song could be any better. I actually do like this, thanks for uploading it!

I played this game for the first time about 3 months ago, but it's already secured a spot as one of my favorite video games ever.
You know it's not your first time listening to this :)
Reminds me of the the winter bookstore/subcon forest masked theme from the game's alpha version

I think when I was a kid I knew AHIT fro kickstarter but never played it until 2020
This calming I could sleep to this

As soon as i clicked on the vid, i played it at 2x speed
This helps me so much calming down..
This man is underrated. Let's get him to 100 subs shall we?
these sounds resonate with me
i think I have found my natural frequency
So peaceful sounding☺
Holy crap that is weird it really does sound like it's deep under water so cool!
Hey. This is actually pretty good aftercare music for me. Thanks for making this.
This still helps me so much calming down...
Omg this so relax i found my inner peace~
When its slowed down… i forget that this is the rift song-
Its so soothing!
Thank you so much for this. This helps so much more than I care to let on
love how one of the tags says "listenable"
Clocktowers Beneath The Sea (Underwater) - A Hat In Time
The double speed reproduction out of curiosity and sounds the same as the original
Because that's the normal spleed
@@PurpleTurtle-bd2kv Oh, thanks ;)

Beautiful.
Alternate title (If this were a song at the end of a game): A final dive to the Clocktowers
. . . This is so relaxing when you're not freaking out over the fact you died again. . .
I love the whale sound so much
at 0.75 speed it sounds kinda haunting.
hat in time has no right to be this good what the actual heck
Sounds like a different song altogether!
If you hate your ears, play it at 0.25 speed
I love it, I can't stop playing it
man for some reason i really want to play hat in time now, good thing i have it
0.25 is terrifying-
White Tower Forest flashback.
feels like I'm in winter forest at dark night with full moon
imagine speeding this up
totally couldnt be me

yes
1.25 makes this feel really calming
It sounds like a level in a whole new game
everybody is talking about the actual song, but did anybody notice the end? it sounds like the song just died
Yeah, sorry. :P This is one of my first extended works and I didn't know what I was doing.

ah, an excellent observation. @Fatin Marwat
1.25 speed makes this sound like a peaceful water stage
Feeling Hat Girl is dreaming
dunno what the comments are on about but i think 25% speeds better In my opinion XD
Time to play this at half speed.
Whoever disliked this deserves the worst death conceivable
Permanent stay at Queen Vanessa's Manor
Thats to cruel

0.5 is awesome lol
Any further speed just sounds like playing a blue rift with something wrong in the story present.
