We really enjoyed bowling on the Meraviglia. So much fun. We did have to reserve an hour since there were all five of us bowling when we went.
We were asked to stop filming in the shops aboard the Seashore. This is the only time that has ever happened to us. It would think it would be in their best interest to have the exposure. I guess we’ll just keep advertising for the other lines.
The tapas restaurant was our favorite overall specialty dining experience.
For me (Jason), Ocean Cay had the best food.
Coffee with dessert is a must. It is frustrating when you have to ask for it every time. Small and petty perhaps, but it enhances the experience when it’s offered instead.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Sometimes it’s hard to point out negatives without appearing like a complainer. It’s good to show viewers what to expect. Good , bad and in between.

Yes, Bowling was fun.. So funny that guy in the shop, I wish I could have put what he said to me on UA-cam... lol. that would have shown too much behind the seen... lol..

Good footage! Did the Seafood restaurant have non seafood options on the menu? My boyfriend doesn't eat seafood but i do. I love crabcakes & that ahi tuna looked amazing.
Looking forward to your teppenyaki vlog!

No, only seafood items were offered with the dining experience package. The main menu only offered seafood as well. Kinda odd they don't offer a vegetarian or other meat selections for those who might not be able to eat seafood.

It's just a side dish, taste it, leave it if it's terrible, and move on. There are literally 300 items available for breakfast on the ship.

Why did not send back the hot dog, and see if they had other options, or give them a chance to double check on the sausage.😢

Is it that they use them all the time. It’s not the first time I’ve heard this. Did you ever get proper sausage from them?

I was told on Carnival Magic I could not film in the store. I was in the liquor store.

We were filming and when we went in the gym we were also told to stop filming.
Which I guess I can kind of understand.

We did not have any issues in the gym, as I was carful not to film close up shots of people. It was the MSC merch store...

Just an fyi for others watching. Some of royals pools are salt water and some are fresh. Just mentioning so people don't jump in and get surprised 🙂

Yeah I get that. RCCL does have them. And yes some do not. When you’re in the moment you sometimes forget those little details that hit you once the episode airs. 😂😂. That’s part of VLOGing.

Does the $71 - 3 specialty dining included all gratuities already or its added at the end of the meal on the bill? And does kids pay or it’s free?

The packages do include the tips when purchased before your cruise online. I'm not sure about the kids because I was not traveling with them, but did see the price offered online based on the child age. Thanks for watching.

I'm thinking of getting in to vlogging so I hope you don't mind if I ask. What camera do you use and what video editing software?

I have several cameras, but as my main camera I use the Sony Alpha 7 IV with a 10/20mm G series, wide-angle lens I also use the Sony handle remote. Attached is a Sony ECM-B10 mic. Sometimes I switch mics to the DJI lapel wireless units. My other two cameras are the GoPro 11 & 10 black with full mods and rode mic setups. I mostly use the 10 for water. The 11 is used for most rugged shots. I also have the Sony ZV-1 for b roll shots while traveling in planes, Ubers, trains, Buses, etc. I never VLOG with this camera I also use my iPhone 13 proMax in difficult lighting locations like menu reading or bad light food shots. As for editing I use ALL Adobe for everything. The one thing I would take out of all the equipment I’ve exchanged over the years is that you should definitely know your equipment before just talking to the camera. I learned the hard way. I would go out in the field, thinking. I recorded some amazing footage and forgot to plug in the mic. 😂😂😂😂 there’s a lot to it and if you’re really into it and you really spend a lot of time on it, you might get a few hundred subscribers. No matter what just keep putting content out. UA-cam is just like any other animal you have to feed it. 😂😂😂 there are some other pieces of equipment that I do use but mostly because of what I shoot and the environments. Not everybody needs a very expensive camera to do this. I have worked hard to get my equipment in order. I can finally say I have one bag that holds everything including my drone. It took several years to get it to this point. I like you one day said to somebody just like me what do I need to start? The simplest answer is a Camera. Good luck and please feel free to ask questions. I always seem to reply to everybody. It might be a day or it might be a week, I always end up replying. You can look me up on Facebook - Pooler’s Travel - Jeffrey’s Adventures - Jeffrey Pooler - and www.poolerstravel.com. Have a great weekend! Jeffrey
