Why nearly everyone in the fragrance Community hate on Paco Rabanne invictus edt ? Its a classic banger und lasts forever and smells fantastic ! Never understood the hate….A bit sweet and fresh. I am glad at least you dont trash talked it and mentioned how good it actually is 👍🏽

For the men's side of fragcom, Insecurity is one reason. There's a few fragrances where they imagine some frat bro type person wearing. Usually loud, mass appealing, and simple.
Another would be contrarianism.
Fragrance snobs don’t make sense. For some reason it’s considered cool in the fragrance community to hate on paco rabanne. Paco rabanne is a pioneer for designer fragrances. A lot of scents that the fragrance community loves were inspired by 1 million and invictus. All the sweet winter scents we see today started off cause of 1 million in 08. The aquatic/fresh and sweet/bubblegummy DNA that the fragrance community adores came from invictus. Hell, invictus aqua was another DNA that lots of designers try and clone to this day.

Zadig & Voltaire undressed is the favourite scent of my girlfriend, so I'd definitely place it a bit higher. Solid pick and it also lasts surprisingly long. Blind buy worthy .

There's three concentrations of Eros. Younger people go EDT. Over 30, go for the EDP or Parfum. All are great performers and smell fantastic.

This is a great list. I know Versace Eros is old news but I’ve had so many compliments and think it smells awesome! Armani Code is also great. Armani is also very masculine which seems to be rare these days. You described it perfectly. Have to give Haltane a try.

Bleu smells too average as everyone has it. Zadig and Invictus are great and Y and less common here. Great selection.
Tom Ford - Noir Extreme, Van Cleef and Arpels-Bois Dore, Eisenberg- J'ose, Viktor@Rolf-Spice bomb, Philipp Plein -No limits, Duor Savage- they are all much better.

Just beware that recent batches of YSL Y Eau de Parfum are far from the beast mode they once were... The scent is there, but the performance isn't.
The 4 Big Blues have all been reformulated.
They worked fine for me

Have and love both Oud Wood and BDC Parfum. They can co-exist in a collection, even a small one. In fact, for me, they'd be required for like a 10 frag collection.
You are right haltane,tom ford oud wood,chanel bleu parfum is so fucking good I love it. My wife loves chanel bleu parfum and pdm galloway on me it is her favorite. Roja Oceania is good. Armani code line now absolu is the best. Paco rabanne invictus exlir is the best 👌

Even if It did 20 years ago and the Apple note was taken out, people would still say it is there.Lmfao, Paco Rabanne Black XS a long time ago smelled like strawberry champagne they took the strawberry note out and everyone still says it smells like that. I have a brand new bottle it smells like powdery champagne now not like strawberry.

@@livinglife3230 To each their own. BDC Parfum is a forever fragrance in my collection. I was hooked the day I tired it. Couldn't get it out of my head, and bought it less than two weeks later. The EDP was nice, the Parfum perfected the DNA.
