Ducati SuperSport 750 SSie engine teardown - Hidden Previous Damage Repair!!!

Hi Everyone, another engine teardown and this one comes with some hidden surprises.
The engine is from a 2001 Ducati SuperSport 750 SSie, the owner has sent the engine to me as it has low compression, a knocking/pinging sound when running along with trouble selecting gears.
In this video I will be tearing down the engine to carry out some initial diagnosis of the possible problems and then agree the best course to follow with the owner
