When the storm hits

The Father Friendly Initiative team has published a unique and heartbreaking video on men’s experience of their child’s death. Funded by Movember Canada, our team has designed a video, When the storm hits, illustrating the mourning of men. Five fathers share their experience of their child’s death and the tools that have helped them to live through this storm. These stories can inspire bereaved families, professionals’ practices toward men as well as the development of policies and services for them. This video is available for men and women to view in the comfort of their home. It also aims to support training for the health and social care milieu, as well as community organizations.
