The only thing wrong with Rosalie Cunningham’s music is that there isn’t enough of it. There never will be. I will never be able to get enough of this fantastic artistry.
Just listened to the whole album…twice. I hadn’t even heard of Rosalie before and stumbled upon her album quite by accident. I’m so glad I did. There is nothing so soul satisfying as finding something that you weren’t even looking for and having it change your life. It has only ever happened to me on three occasions previously. I’ve always loved music that defies the ‘formula’. This has so many wonderful prog elements coupled with some folk for good measure and takes you to a place where you thought it wouldn’t ever go. I’m hearing so many influences in just this one song if so many bands I grew up listening to. The Beatles at their most playful, Joni Mitchell, Genesis, Deep Purple and I love it. Ritchie Blackmore once said that he was always searching for a musical nirvana and that it wasn’t really tangible as it probably didn’t even exist. However, if it does exist, this must be pretty damn close. The songs on the album may be on the longer side, but songs are as long as they need to be. Songwriters are like authors, you can’t half write a story and leave it unfinished. If you haven’t already, listen to the whole album.
Just saw her live at Mantonfest last w'end Bloody excellent live band and she kingly signed my Purson album too Be trying to catch her and band again as soon as possible Great songwriter and cracking guitar player she is
Amazing, in 7 minutes (it seemed like many more!).. You've taken me back to my formative years, listening to Steeleye Span, Be-bop Deluxe, Yes and Hawkwind! Love it!
This kicks ass! Cannot wait for the new album. Really loving the Allman Brothers (In Memory of Elizabeth Reed) and Grateful Dead (Terrapin Station) vibes I'm getting from this.
Another remarkable track. Was going to book tickets for a date in the '23 tour, but not coming to Glasgow. Will catch you and your great band when you come over the border.
@@rosaliecunningham71 It would be excellent to catch up somewhen . Lol, I hear magical musical things from you all the time ;) I'd love to hear it live. Keep enjoying the music and thanks for sharing that joy with the world. ;)
I love this! But I'm biased, b/c I dig everything you've been doing. It's interesting, unique, catchy, and very listenable. You're not being recognized or rewarded nearly enough, but I think you're doing what you love, and that's awesome. I hope you can sustain this output, and I hope you enjoy every minute of it.
we were so early to see you at the burg herzberg festival...i hope you'll come there soon...! PS: great music, great band, keep it up and all the best in 2022. your "GrauKappenHippies" from chemnitz
so THIS is what passes as "cutting edge " and addictive as one review stated. well then I will say there is absolutely nothing cutting edge, memorable or even technically all that good in the song writing department. she has a decent voice and is very attractive. but frankly music has fallen into great depths of mediocrity if this is cutting edge and ear worm material. sorry no offence ddint cone here to troll. was just reading shindig magazine from a couple months back and they rave on and on about her music. no after listening to prog rock and tons of other genres for fifty years , i can say with all the music i have heard, cookie cutter formula music. hey just because its not top forty doesn't mean it can not be "cookie cutter". all the correct pieces are in place, and thats the problem is an extremely adept retread of 70s psych/prog, but thats EXACTLY what is wrong with it .
@@Zintag Yeah, it picks up a lot around the 2 minute mark. The intro was very repetative and meandering and could have been shortened. The production on the song is fantastic though and the guitar tone is killer. Overall i'm excited for the new album.
Such a crime that she isn't a massive star as she should.

Pure Psychedelic Art-Prog Bliss!!!
Rosie should represent the UK in Eurovision. This would be a great Eurovision song ...

Well said.
The entire album is fantastic.
I love these long trippy tracks you can get lost in!
yeah like a yarn from the wheel, i agree fully, the music becomes a journey
She's great - I hear a lot of Jethro Tull style moments here
This track reminds me of the 1967 Jefferson Airplane album, Surrealistic Pillow, with Grace Slick on vocals.
Pure wonder!!! I've heard it 4 times in a row...
Gutted tuesday gig was off in Newcastle

Love it. There's a touch of All About Eve in there within the luscious psychedelic oddysey. Looking forward to the Album now! Fuzz tone heaven.

How more Gong could this be? The answer is none. None more Gong.
If Marc Bolan & PJ Harvey had had a baby together! 💜👶🏻💜
Love this! A little Billy Thorpe-ish.
needs a few listens loads going on.

Industrial catastrophe. Disappointed
I'm not the biggest fan of the first half either but the second half is pretty cool
