Hatsumi Masaaki - Kokū (Sweden Tai Kai 1990)

Hatsumi Masaaki, Sōke of Gyokko Ryū Kosshijutsu, shows the first technique Kokū and explains the necessity of studying each detail of the form deeply. To merely copy his movements here without proper transmission in the ryū will only get you so far. The teachings inside the form are hidden in plain sight.

I have checked him out. Better than most, but I haven’t seen any sparring from them either. Not that it’s the be all end all, but is a necessary component of any legitimate fighting style.

Ich Habe gehört dass masaki kein neuen Nachfolger mehr wählen wird...man sagt ja er sei der letzte echte ninja man muss aber selbst entscheiden ab wann man ein Ninja ist trotzdem schade das er eine so lange Tradition abbricht :c

Soweit ich weiß, hat er 9 Nachfolger ausgewählt, die jeder eine der 9 Schulen weiter unterrichten werden. Ich denke aber, dass es mittlerweile so viele Shihane gibt, dass das Bujinkan erhalten bleibt.
