At the Tatra Kopřivnice factory (during the war, Tatra-Werke A.G. Nesselsdorf) there is documentation and photos of the FAMO F3 half-track tractor prototype (Sd.Kfz.9) with a Tatra 111 diesel engine, several photos of the prototype, a record of test drives dated 20.3.1944, drawings and technical documentation and documents on the additional order for the assembly of the Tatra 111 engine from 3 November 1944 (Auftrag Nr. 65/44). The engine from the Tatra 111 is the predecessor of the engine that the Tatra 813 has. So yes, the Tatra design is younger, but conceptually the difference will not be as big as it seems.

Интересно этот ФАМО с бензиновым мотором майбах 12 цилиндровым ИЛИ с дизелем воздушником татра ? Были два варианта этих тягачей, дизельных намного меньше с 1944г? выпускались, по характеристикам похожи но дизель тягу на низах лучше показывает конечно. Внешне они не особо различаются.
Касаемо stdk9, имеет значение на каком грунте применение, если на твёрдом или на асфальте -- то тяга, буксир слабый т.к. прямоугольные опоры с резиновыми вставками имеют малую площадь сцепления , и не вдавливаються в грунт, скользят, а вот на мягком грунте вдавливаясь в почву на 5см -- гребут цепляют сильно прочно, что надо, показывают паровозную тягу, правда риск-- зарыться "сесть на раму" тоже есть

It's simple physics. The Famo has tracks which create more contact area, more contact area = more friction, which = more transference of power.
That's not how physics works. Traction is based on the materials in contact and the weight of the vehicle. Area doesn't affect it. It just spreads it out. Contact area comes into play if the terrain is soft preventing the vehicle sinking in. If the ground is firm like in this test, the contact patch doesn't really matter. The angle of the tow chain matters more, the Tatra us pulling up on the FAMO making the Tatra's job easier, reducing the downward force of the FAMO's weight and reducing its traction.

You've got it backwards. The interleaved wheels spread the load on the track causing lower average ground pressure, it's better for soft terrain and snow.
