As a locomotive driver. I'm surprised you have the traction for it with almost no weight on the rear (well relative to a train or loaded heavy truck). I'd have expected 30-35 due to traction. As a classic car owner, you will utterly run away from my Honda N360 & Suzuki LJ50 + you'll way out corner the latter.
Not bad! Probably about the same time to shift through 4 gears as it takes a normal manual to go through 2. Granted it's just the truck and no trailer, but its about the same time an ES44AC could pull a loaded autorack to 35 on an open track.
@@1zAlfonzo only limiting factor i see in it is its range. 500 miles isn’t enough even if it can charge fast. But it definitely has the power. It uses 4 model 3 motors so about 800hp. Probably geared to top out at about 75 so wheel torque will be in the 70,000 ft-lb range at peak
@CJ i think it can tow about 60k before it hits the 82k lbs GVWR, also correction since now the semi is out. it uses the plaid tri motor setup. 1 motor for cruising and the other 2 boost acceleration.
When the rig in front of you starts spinning the tires lmao
much faster than i imagined. it was unloaded and without a trailer tho, right?
Description says no trailer flat ground
Still faster then a frs
true
Lol
Why is it revving so low? Due to economy mode? Perhaps in another mode it would be faster.
It's a semi dude, how high do you think they rev.
it’s a diesel. they typically don’t rev past 2500rpm
Were you hitting all 10 gears? or were you skipping several? When bobtailing I used to do something like 3, 5, 7, 10 or so.
The truck skips gears with no weight, fully loaded it'll go through almost every gear. Its an automatic 12 speed
Mercedes gauges?
For sure would smoke my 94 civic
I bet this is a swift truck because of the smartpass 30 mins. Thays what's on our trucks
Cool!

What engine?
Niceee

Wow, that's reassurance that manuals are a far better choice in heavy trucks, that was just plain sad.
It’s probably because it’s in economy mode, and he can’t change it.
@@gabemarah9465 Yeah, maybe. Definitely not an issue in a manual though.
@@Tracert-mc1hu automatic transmissions have more drivetrain power losses due to parasitic drag and ability of clutch/converter + TCU
@@callang9 This is not an automatic. It's an automated manual. It has nothing to do with drivetrain losses, just crappy programming.
@@Tracert-mc1hu automated manual= no manual clutch operation = automatic
Not bad for a big rig
Start off good die off at the end
dd13 or dd15?
Now think, the tesla semi does that in 5 seconds...
But can’t pull
Someone else who knows about the Tesla semi! Yes, the Tesla semi will probably be the fastest commercial truck in the world.

Why cant I hear any engine noise is this a Tesla or something I swear companies think having silent engines is futuristic
how cant you hear?
its pretty quiet i have to say but its because of low RPM and good interior silencers i guess
Automatic 😂
