What i find amazing is that a crab has a hard exoskeleton and a octopus has virtually no skeleton yet the octopus is able to take down a crab successfully with little trouble....its a classic battle of brain vs brawn
@teeanahera8949 imagine if the octopus did had a skeleton system it would grab onto anything and crush it then humans will seriously be at a threat in the ocean when encountering an octopus
The crab shell is probably one of the worst evolutionary defense - ever - it's virtually useless against ALL of it's predictors, from tiny little worms to "soft" body predictors, to fishes that basically eaten it alive. Truly one of the rare occasions where mother nature failed epically. Sorry crabby, back to dance in the island.
I disagree. It's a very successful evolutionary pattern. There are thousands of species of crabs, in all of the worlds oceans, and they have been around for over 200 million years in the fossil record. That's not a fail, that's a resounding success.
something is wrong with my brain. Crab's fierce pincers are rendered useless by the Octopuse' suckers... No idea why I cracked up laughing at such an innocent statement hahahahaha
came from two videos where A. a crab get sucked dry by a leech ; B. a crab get one shot by a bullet shrimp. Guys just give Mr. crab a break and stop using him as a measuring standard.
Common octopus are hella clever, but they only live 1-2 years in the wild. How does this even make sense? Unless through time, gained knowledge is passed on to future generations, like if the octopus is some hivemind.
On a certain level, we have octapussy in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the octapussy can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the octapussy can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.
Are you feeling it now, Mr Krabs?

Squidward finally got his revenge against Mr Krabs.
And looted his money.
Crabs seem ferocious at first glance, but they seemed to get bent by everything they come in contact with. I feel bad for them.
Don't worry they get replaced, for some reason they keep evolving, it has already happened like 6 separate times completely removed from eachother
They're pretty useless beyond becoming food

Just once, I would like to hear the narrator say, "this animal has just not mastered the dangers of its environment."
That is the definition of a creature that has gone extinct.
What i find amazing is that a crab has a hard exoskeleton and a octopus has virtually no skeleton yet the octopus is able to take down a crab successfully with little trouble....its a classic battle of brain vs brawn

What do you mean virtually no skeleton? It has zero skeleton. The only hard bit is its beak.
