It's so beautiful, where can I find the digital downloads of the women and the fortune telling cards? Or is it possible. This book is my favorite of any journal I've seen and I want one!!!!!
This was fun to watch! I love your charms and tug ge little pouch with carda. I also like how you make simple journal cards that fold in half that can be tucked away. Amazing job!!
Rita, you are a creative genius! The book is absolutely stunning. Every single page, tuck, pocket, and extra is mesmerizing. I agree with Julie Hughes' comment below about the Gypsy wardrobe. It's just the best! I've watched the video about 5 times now and love it more each time. I have so many questions for you. Do you print on photo paper? And, because I'm in the market to buy a new one, what kind of printer do you use? This one was definitely worth the wait. Love, love, love it!
OMG! Thanks a lot for your beautiful words! I'm going to answer to your questions: 1. No, I print on common copy paper 2. (This is a sore point) I don't print at home, I always choose to print at my "loyal" typography...This is a little bit more expensive, but the quality is absolutely different... Thanks again my friend
@@rita.colarossi.0804 The papers have a glossy look that my prints never have. With the cost of toner these days, it may be pretty close in cost. I've actually considered having them printed at my local shop, too. Thanks for that info. Visited your Etsy shop today, and couldn't resist a few purchases.
@@CJWright-auntiemoon Yes, I know...I often thought about buying a printer, but as you say, toner is really expensive and the quality will never be the same as the typography's one (the glossy look that you see is for that, the laser printer have a professional resolution even on common paper). Thank you so much for your interest in my Etsy Shop! I hope you will create a lot of wonders!
This is so beautiful, do you have a tutorial on how to make one of these books, I'd like to know how you get your pages that colour and how many do you need in a book to alter it please? 🙏
Thank u Suz! I didn't do a tutorial because it's a long long process and it's impossible to show it in one video, but I can answer to your questions: I used coffee on each page to make them "aged", and then I covered each one with a background paper, trying to stay in a "grungy/bohemian" range of colors (it's important to give your project the style you want). Sorry for any mistake in my english, hope this is helpful for you 😘
@@rita.colarossi.0804 thank you so much, hard to find any bohemian type paper here, your English is great 😊...So, was this just an ordinary book that you altered, how many pages did the book have and how many pages are glued together, just to give me a rough idea, I'm not sure how you tea stained the pages? Sorry so many questions, I would love to try make one 😘
@@angelbabesuz1612 So: check for Digital Curio on Etsy for lot of texture paper, they have a plenty of different patterns in a lot of style including gypsy bohemian (I also have a small Etsy Shop 😊 it's pretty new I'm just beginning with digits but you can find something interesting for backgrounds : EsperiaArtEmporium) Then, I use coffee instead of tea (more intense color) and in this case I use a brush to cover the whole page. Next question: yes, it's an ordinary book with an hardcover (it's important), and the process I use is: glue 4 pages, remove 4 pages, then glue for pages, remove 4 pages, and so on...You got about 40/50 pages at the end in this way, but if you want less pages, you can just gluing 5, removing 5, or gluing 6 removing six...Hope I explained well 😁
