Walker Valley Main Pit

- I went to Walker Valley near Mt Vernon Washington today to check out the main pit. This place definitely needs to be mucked out. The whole digging area is about 8 feet under tailings. So I did some rock removal to see what is in the host rock that is showing and dug a test hole above the pit to see what I could find!

Very nice 👍
Thank you
Gate was open when my family and i were there in August
They open it every once in a while. It's nice to be able to park near where you dig⛏️
@@QuartzCowboy I never pull in there to worried about getting locked in lol
@QuartzCowboy got locked in behind a gate down in greenwater area. Had to 4x4 through the woods to get around it and out. Had my daughter and my buddy with me, was pretty hairy in spots.
@@nicholasnewton6775 Good thing you were in a 4x4. That would suck getting locked in anywhere.
@@QuartzCowboy it was a bit a scare for sure
