I think it is awesome for the price, some people complain not to have an AMOLED screen but when watching your videos the difference between the LCD and AMOLED is not so bad. Thank you.

Excellent review guys. I still use a 5 year old 7" Samsung tab as an ereader, that's it. We had a 10.5" Samsung too, never used and recently set it up in our mother's house, to use as a video phone. I took everything off except Skype on the main screen. She just has to hit answer. It's been great with her being isolated right now. This is a lovely tablet but with 2 laptops and 2 monitors for Dex and the fact we hardly used the old tabs I can't see a need. But for those who need a tablet, this certainly looks like a very good value product. 👍👍👍 On my wish list is an Oculus Go. I'm missing not being able to use Gear VR on Note10 plus. I only used it once a week on previous phones but enjoyed it.

@@Va7uN So, there's just sometimes a little bit of lag, but Just if you scroll very fast in Apps Like Google Play, where it has to load a lot. For note taking I didn't experience a difference from the Tab S6. Multi Tasking works fine with 4-7 Apps opened. And it will work at least 2-3 years if you always delete unnecessary apps.
Do you know if the S Pen tips can be changed? And where i can buy them (from Samsung?)?

i hope what you guys said can become true. giving this tablet a dex feature would be awesome. It could be the killer for samsung's own high end tablet but who knows? The only reason to get the new tab s7(in a few months time) is just the better hardware capability as well as the keyboard cover but tbh, this tab s6 lite with possible dex is probably gonna be too attractive for ppl to not overlook it.
That’s why I am unsure if they would do it - they need the S7 to have some killer features!

Who would have thought ten years ago that a laptop would be considered big.. But I think I need a more portable device for taking notes more conveniently, etc and maybe the Tab S6 lite is a good option without breaking the bank.

I prefer my 8 inch tab with s pen, 2019.. 8 inches is the best form factor for productivity and portability. I take notes on it at University with no issues at all.. it's plenty big.. and in vertical mode the width is almost the same as this one... Just not as long :)
I'm still using my 6 year old tab S but it's time for a new tablet, I create art and travel videos for my channel, looks like this might be the ticket for editing and creating some digital art without breaking the bank.😀

I have watched all your reviews,does s pen work with a screen protector covering the screen?
I had A6 once and then try S6 lite, both screen sensitivity (either for pen or hand) work perfectly when I add screen protector (I used temp.glass 0,3 mm)
i bought it a week ago and i love it :) the only bummer is that it has usb 2.0 not 3.0 so you can't connect it to an external monitor?
pairing keyboard en mouse works great. still looking for a good cover that has een keyboard with it. found some on amazon, but it was unclear based on the photos and description if it could also store the s pen somewhere.
Love the tablet and for this price it's great.
i mainly use it for email, watch series/ movies and lightroom when i'm on the go.

@@TheCardGeek yes i was doubting to go for the s6 lite or s6, but the whole package of the s6 was just to much money and it still wouldn't be able to replace my laptop completely, so i seemed like a very expensive sevond device.
If only it had usb 3.0 then it would be perfect for me to also do some large spreadsheet work at the office :P
But as a second device for a bit more light use it's perfect :)
Yeah has everything I need it todo but not being able to be connected to a screen is a bummer! Could really do with it and the big boy s6 isn't really worth it for me as majority would be emails reading news browsing etc but being able to watch something on your sd card to a bigger screen is the biggest thing I need ontop
My wife has a Galaxy Tab A 10.1 and it's really nice. I lke the screen and the overall performance. I'm quite interested in this one as it seems to provide good value for the money. Thanks for the video.

The only downside to this tab is its processor. Samsung should have used SD 700 or 800s and then it would have been a game changer altogether.

I own one too! I havent experienced any problems beside the issue if you use magnetic case the S-Pen doesn't work properly on places where the magnets are and some lags if you have battery save mode on.

Of course it's not as great as a flagship, but I'm on a tight budget right now and I need a tablet to boost my productivity during the pandemic as well as to put less stress on my overtaxed laptop. So right now instead of using my laptop the whole day, I can divide the workload with my tablet :)

Since the day i got a keyboard for my iPad my experience using it has changed by a lot, it feels much better than the touchscreen keyboard. And so does the mouse now fully updated since iPadOS 13.4 ;)

Any video I watched never mentioned the fact that the device comes with 4GB of RAM but out of the box brand new 2 gigabytes is already used so I basically just paid $300 for two gigabytes of Ram I think the electronics Industry needs to be a little bit more honest about what we're getting if the system needs 2GB to function properly that's on them and any additional Ram should be what's marketed it's deceiving and if you don't think it's deceiving then at least admit that the proper thing to do would be to say this device has 4 gigabytes of RAM but only 2gb are accessible for use by the consumer. Im a bit annoyed right now.
Hi, yes you are right it is a good point. we started getting way deeper with our recent releases which covers RAM and Storage availability and much more. For us it was and is a learning process to really find out which are the most important parts for the audience but also real life usage rather than reading spec sheets...thanks for stopping by.

I had bought it and im very disappointed on a lot of simple things it didnt have, i went from lenovo tab 4 8 plus only reason for needing a new tab was coz it had so many hardware issues! but i loved it other than that, newer budget tablets have took everything simple away from them... Notifcation light, vibration, finger sensor. The speakers are terrible when used on portrait ( which i do) It sounds like you are listening to mono speakers as they are both on right hand side. To me i think its alot of money to have lots of things took away. May have to stick with my lenovo :(

It’s an old Apple Bluetooth keyboard! We have had it for years 😂 it does fit well!!
Yeah I'm glad I bought mine, And 11 quid a month with loads of GB data I don't use that gets rolled over, I got it with Sky, So if people are on Sky and can afford the axtra 11 qiud a month, Dont sound much but every penny helps right about now and wants one of these tablets for the price and what it does is amazing, It can replace a laptop for everyday things, Plus it's got DeX, But yeah these tablets are worth every penny, Down to drawing and editing, It can all be done on a budget of 11 quid a month, Like I said those using Sky, There is a bunch of different tabs, But the s6 got be the best for the price range, UA-cam do eat the battery but that's same on anything plating you tube for hours....
I plan on buying a T-shirt printer and starting personalised graffiti designs, An alphabet of diff graff styles you can arrange how you want it, I'm skint at the moment tho so will have to wait a few months, I want a new PC for a sim racing channel, But yeah I plan on using the s6 tab I got for graffiti style T-shirt printing, It's not easy getting all the equipment when every penny goes on food and bills, If anyone knows anyone who would give me a helping start with a T-shirt printer for promotion in return plz let me know, I don't plan in doing multiple channels so it will be a mixture of different stuff, My mental health is a mess some days tho, I suffer with from CPTSD is hard sometimes but if I got something to achieve or focus on, It's why Sim Racing helps a bit....
But yeah 11 quid a month on Sky and it's actually a top way of getting your hands on a tablet like this if you ain't got the spare money, It is actually well worth every penny this tablet after a few months I've had no issues, Plus it's an interesting experience learning to draw on a glass screen, My Sim pic was done on the s6, So if I can do it so can other people.....
Just buy one if you can afford it, You won't be Disappointed, I am a fussy mofo and I'm happy with it, So yeah there's a lot more than 6 reasons to buy this s6, lol.....

I always think the main overriding reason to buy a Samsung tablet is for the OLED display, something lacking in the iPad range. So though this is a mid-range tablet, not having OLED just makes it ordinary. The Huawei Matepad Pro was on pre-order selling for £499 with free keyboard and pen, so effectively similar in price to the Tab S6 Lite! Without the OLED there are far better-performing tablets, some offering better value, that do all the above without missing a beat and do much more. Def more for Samsung fans than those that want the best performance at the price point.

I currently use my Samsung S9+ to edit my videos using Kinemaster which I love.
I record my videos at 2.7k 60fps resolution, then transfer the files to my phone and then export at 1080p 60fps. Would love to use a tablet as even though my phone does a great job, It's just a bit small and fiddly to do. Can you confirm this tablet has the power to do this. I know the samsung A7 wont play 2.7k videos and I'm sure it will only export at 720p (unless there is a setting in kinemaster to allow this) Or that the A7 hasn't got the power.
I'll just put a 256gb sd card in it which will be sufficient for what I need. I would just hate to buy the S6 lite and then find out it can't read the 2.7k video files.

I love the Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 light manly got it to do artwork but honestly it's better with no butt launcher and a nice icon pack to make it more like stock Android and to customize it more with better icons I honestly don't like Samsung's icon layout but other than that it is great the pain is early responsive

we do, it’s the 8GB RAM version WiFi / 256 Storage. we actually did a lot of comparisons when the tab s6 came out last year.

Nothing is sponsored, we have plenty more videos wrt Tab S6 lite on our channel. In terms of problems, unless we make some up we cant show any. We simply don't have any (yet)

Which one should i chose between ipad 7th gen and tab s6 lite?
I was stuck between the two also. Because i plan on doing a lot of drawing I went with the s6 because of the laminated screen and it comes with the s pen. Apple pencil is $100 extra.
