Almost too bad it isn't at night. When the traib crossed Airport Crossing, it reminded me of being on the last car of a CNR #6167 excursion back in the 60's, watching the crossing gates go up after the train had passed.
If you had better camera & edit skills, the 8+ mins MIGHT have been plausable...otherwise, the beautiful scenery was also wasted because your film rate was either shot below 480p or your up load was not corrected to get your higest frame rate quality from your Gopro's. All in all... Watch Distant Signal for his camera skills but more so, for his thought-out shots. You have a great "C" roll. That's a grade given in film school for two reasons. 1.) It's not good enough for the main shots called "A's".., 2.) It didn't make the coveted "B" roll or B grade, for ANY cutaway shots... But it wound up being the film left on the floor after the edits were done, and the editer and the director look at you and then at the floor and say, " "C" that's where your footage winds up if you give me low quality film again next time... Go to a television work shop and learn EVERYTHING you can about making a Program. Tell a complete story in less than five mins...With or wuthout sound. But first time, no Sound. Learn how to photograph...moving objects, not moving cameras. Then as you are learning about that throw in learning about light and how to use it for or against you, usually for effects. Learn about all cameras. I suspect you have at least 3 GoPros. Time to move on up a bit and actually fork out some cash and accesiories...batteries and a fluid head tripod. Steady-cam units are later as are drones...take your courses and kearn as much as you can from each and everyone of your instructors...if you want your hobby to be admired...learn your skills...everyone has heard & seen "chop sticks" performed on the piano...now it"s time to reach out, maybe not right away, and shoot for a better video/sound, to perform "CHOPIN"! (SHÕW-pān) Get it? After that there's learning lighting, mic choices if you choose to get better sound and how to get all thoae skills to gel and come together. You must be living in upper Puget Sound... Find courses in local Community collrges or if you have the time, Seattle Film School located in Southern Ballard are on your way too Seattle water front and the New area. Tuition is some what steep but good teachers and good refs. Brand new facilities as of 7 or now 8 years ago. Don't publish again here, till you read, read, practice, read, read, practice practice and read some more. Talk to people about cameras at Kenmore. Don't buy expensive TOYS CAMERA. See prifession schools first. Take a course! Learn Real "baby movie cameras" vs GoPros and DSLR camera differences, with or Without "Mirrorless" ($3k or higher wt out lenes!) .(They are also heavier already, wt out lens, another very important thing to learn) and how the costs go up for ROOT LENS for them. 35mmn 50mm 85mm or combo 50-150/300 or telephoto, 150n 300, 500n or zoom types 28-300! ($1000 to $10k) of you want those special lenses. Get ref books on learning basic shooting skils, lighting, sound capture wt camera or without camera and using external recorders, ( like Dan Harmon uses in Distant Signal.) Find CURTIS JUDD ( not title of his videos) whose videos are on how to record sound and testing of equipment and lighting and sound capture/portable mixers for multi sound mics if you need them. Diff between Cardiod and omni directional microphones and different pick-up sound patterns... It will all come together with time and patience. Practice practice practice! GOOD LUCK.
