- This weekend we took the 2023 Yamaha YZ450F out to RAM Offroad park. No intentions to run crazy motos or "test" different settings, we just went out and had some fun with ou buddies which to me is the best way to spend a day at the track! So I had the “knot” behind the shoulder blade, Dr sent me to PT for a month. Found it to be a little bit of posture, along with lifting weights with incorrect form. (Work on better posture when sitting around the house or walking then if you do go to the gym, do small weights correct form it helped a lot.)

You should get those electro pads that hook to do this little round device that has two AA batteries in it but it’s like shock therapy for your shoulder. I use it on my back and I using on my shoulder when it hurts real bad and it really helps. you can get them at super Walmart. Any sports store and they’re nothing super expensive or anything but it definitely helps. There are sticky pad that stick your skin.👍
the insta 360 looks so trippy, kind of make me feel like I'm on a roller-coaster just watching, and the back mount makes you look like a video game haha. Sick video was a good watch

You didn't do anything wrong with the "rev bomb" . What he did was very unsafe, and you hopefully taught him a lesson. If he recognizes what he did was unsafe, you likely saved a future accident from happening. Nothing to feel bad about, that's for sure, he absolutely should have looked especially coming off a jump.

Tracks like this must be a west-coast thing. I'm in NC and all the tracks within 100mi. are so chopped up I'd be scared to hit them at speed. Which I'm sure a bike with proffesionally setup suspension would help a ton also. 🤔

Also, if giving the guy a rev is the worst you did you're good lol The things I have yelled at people for doing that same thing....When it's a safety issue like that I feel a rev is more than acceptable.

Recently subbed and enjoy the vids!!!..I had just purchased two Pro Taper bar bends for my new 2023 KTM SX-F 350, never heard of Phoenix so I went to Phoenix bars. My Pro Taper Contour were $78 and even Renthal Fat Bars are around $85......the Phoenix were $114. Don't get me wrong, nice bars for sure and I like the concept of just a difference in height. They are however cheaper than Renthal Twinwalls! LOL Lastly, you're a great rider!

Yes! Not like I’m going to do a full series or anything but same as last year. Race here and there and just have fun with it. I got my CORCS membership already!

Can you tell me which spring rate you went with and how much you weigh? (It is OK to ask men their weight....right? LMAO LMAO LMAO). I need to change the spring on my new KTM 350 as I weigh 225lbs with gear. Any suggestions for me would be greatly appreciated. Again, love the vids!

Mxa just released there full review, and as usual, if it’s not a ktm, sound not that good. Personally i am buying that 2023 and actually have the 2020 yz450f, but just want to have your input.

@2216sammy thanks, i have watched all shootout available yet. What i find funny is that the 2022 won almost all shootout last year. They mostly say that that bike is much better, the other brands haven't change, and now it's not on the top off most of them.

As for the rev bomb, i've done it too, but we need to be mindful of being welcoming to the sport. For all we know this was this kids first time on a track. We were all noobs at one point, and we still are noobs to the faster riders. This aint AMA supercross, it's ram.
And if it’s his first time he needs to learn to hold his line so he doesn’t continue to do it 🤘🏼

@@terry9313 I’ll be honest it wasn’t like I thought the situation through fully as it happened. But revved and got the point across. I’d never hunt him down in the pits and yell at him for it. And if he came to my pit and asked WTF I’d happily have a conversation just about holding your line and track etiquette! End of the day it was a rev as far as “watch out,” vs a rev meaning “get out of my way” you know? Thanks for understanding!
Nerve needs a break. Layoff the mountain bikes for a.month go see a real Dr. And get a steroid pack. I went to a hand Dr. Worked. Had that real bad couldn't play golf etc. Hope this helps.

Instead rev bombing hype him up he looked nervous/scared on track. maybe say stay in your lane more cause it's dangerous or something just rev bombing him probably shook him off course 🤣 and probably doesn't understand what he was doing wrong but dope video either way 🤘

I have faith that having a bike rev at you and you realize they’re super close on your right side after you looked over your left shoulder is pretty self explanatory! I’m sure he realized oh wow I shouldn’t have been moving right because someone was there. Like I said I’d love to have had a conversation with him and explain it but in the moment in the middle of the track I couldn’t have that talk lol
