@@kristinahubmer6762your supposed to teach kids when it's appropriate or wrong. I remember the girls in elementary would show their bras poking out and pants low showing panties or their flat stomachs. Bait for the streets, yea but anyone can be sexualized and it really doesn't matter what you wear. I was hit on by an old drunk guy as a kid in front of my mom it was winter and I was covered. Even if we don't want to think about that way about our kids being sexualized we have to make them aware the world won't treat them like Mom and Dad. Don't scare them but it's best to prepare them when they do come into situations that could of been prevented. Prepare a kid to enter the world with common sense that the world will never cater to you. There are more mentally ill people on the streets.

I am not about parenting someone else's child but sometimes, SOMEONE HAS TO. with the amount of child exploitation EVERYWHERE, why would anyone WANT their child to dress in a sexualized manner? Shorts and a tshirt or tank top is absolutely not an issue. The midriff exposed crop top, with pocket shorts and high heels is not a child appropriate outfit. How old is she? Cause anybody below the age of 13 shouldn't be allowed to wear cropped shirts without a tank top underneath. There are many ways for 13+ to style cropped shirts to be "age appropriate" But also, TO AN EXTENT teenagers should be allowed to wear what they want in order to express themselves. For Example: When I was thirteen, I had a semi sheer white short-sleeved cropped shirt with blue flowers on it and I paired it with either a maroon or dark blue tank top underneath.
I think that part of the problem with the way people dress is not only about their age, but the probability of them becoming a target for some creep (man or woman) no matter what age they are.

Hyper-s*xualization like this is often an indicator of CSA
_Yes, it _*_*IS*_*_ wrong, _*_~very wrong~_*_ to allow your children to be hyper-s*sexualized (or s*sexualized at all),_
& from what a child dressing like this OFTEN indicates,
I suspect that he (the character) is wrong in the WORST ways, on the WORST levels.
Children should be allowed to fully express themselves, in ways that are safe, & cause them no harm.
My kid had full freedom of self-expression,
except for anything unsafe, or vile (like nazi-swastikas, or other symbols of bigotry--
fortunately my kid despises nazis as much as all other decent humans do, & nothing like that was ever, remotely, an issue).
      They used that freedom prodigiously--
had every hair color known to humanity, & all different kinds of haircuts.
They had a bunch of different interests & fandoms, which were expressed in their clothes & accessories (&, sometimes, their hair)
They were hard into "My Little Pony" for a couple years, & Yugi-Oh, & Naruto, & InuYasha, & in the 2010s were a full-on "emo kid" (until they weren't & did something else).
They were & are an individual & their Father & I respected their individuality, & freedom, self-determination, & RIGHT to express themselves as they saw fit
(within the limits of safety & decency).
S*xualization, nevermind hyper-s*xualization is NOT safe, nor normal, however.
It is very, very, very often an indicator of CSA, & can also indicate neglect, rejection, abandonment, & other things,
& It, unfortunately, catches the attention & sends a message to predatory, perverted perpetrators, putting poor, precious children at risk for the most horrific types of betrayal, violation, & harm that I have never seen healed in one lifetime.
(Im old, & know way too much about CSA & SA, from personal experience, & I know & have known many, many victims of both, & I've worked worked with many, many victims & survivors in my profession as a Social Worker [who specialized in CPS] & in my work as a healer.)
That is NOT to say, however, that how a child dresses EVER makes CSA their fault, IN ANY WAY, EVER.
The fault, guilt, & prodigious SHAME belongs ONLY & FULLY with the subhuman devils that would commit CSA (& any kind of SA, but ESPECIALLY CSA).
NONE OF THE GUILT, OR SHAME EVER BELONGS TO THE VICTIM.
PDF FILES, & anyone what hurts children (or animals...or the elderly, sick, or disabled, for that matter) are the lowest of the low of the cockroaches that infest humanity.
This "father" looks like one of them, to me.
(Not saying that the actor is like that IN REAL LIFE.
I just suspect that he is playing the ROLE of a festering, foul, PDF File POS.)
      In my opinion experience.

      No.
It *_*IS*_* a sign of CSA, as well.
There can be many reasons, particularly as co-factors, but hypersexualization of children AND adults is very, very, very often an indicator of CSA/SA.
CSA teaches us that we have no value but s*xual exploitation.
It rewires us, in the worst ways.
Some victims of CSA dress in very androgynous ways, & cover themselves completely, & try to stave off any s*xual energy.
That can be a real indicator.
      Some become hyper-s*xualized.
I cannot fathom why you would say that hyper-s*xualization does not indicate CSA.
It may indicate MANY OTHER THINGS _BESIDES, & AS WELL AS CSA,_
& it's technically POSSIBLE (anything is possible) that children are hyper-s*xualized for reasons NOT including CSA,
however, it's DEFINITELY an indicator of "possible" (if not likely) SA.
In my opinion & (prodigious, very relevant) experience.

Im 50/50 on this issue. If its hot, a child should be able to wear shorter shorts and a strappier top so she feels more comfortable without worrying about adults seeing it as secualised clothing.
What's wrong with the world today where a kid in short shorts is sexualised and thats considered normal.
Maybe its because i grew up in a country with a lot of nude beaches and scantly clad children running wild from beach, to pool, to the street. Im sure creeps existed at that time in that place too, but they tried to hide the fact they were creeps because when they were caught looking too long, or in that certain way, adults would call them out, not the kids and their parents.

The fact that you don't see anything wrong with the way this CHILD is dressed proves that you are apart of the problem. Children need to be children. Not adults, they only have a few years of childhood, LET THEM HAVE IT. STOP FORCING CHILDREN TO GROW UP FASTER THAN THEY SHOULD. And yes dressing like this is making them grow up faster than they should.

Yeah blame it on how they're dressed instead of the predators doing it. What you wear doesn't matter. That outfit is too grown for a child, not because of some small chance of a random kidnapping. Also- the majority, over three quarters, of kidnappings are done by people the child/family knows. Not strangers.

People get raped and kidnapped no matter their outfits
And it's absolutely disgusting and repulsive, as well as just completely inaccurate for you to say that

every time I argue against children wearing inappropriate clothing or doing inappropriate things, this generation of ppl say to me “why r YOU sexualizing a child?” “it’s sad that a girl can’t even wear clothes!” “she can wear whatever she wants!” and all those statements make it SEEM like I’m in the wrong but it’s TRUE that children should not wear WHATEVER they want, and it’s not that IM sexualizing her, it’s that OTHER ppl will. That’s the point of raising children, u FEAR for them, u PROTECT them…letting them wear clothes that are most comparable to what a HOOKER wears is not protecting them.

Also, the dad who doesn’t see the creep part is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of a creep cuz he doesn’t even begin to see his kid as an object! Great dad actually

the problem is not with the child's clothes, but with the fact that adults sexualize them.

    • @FairyMomma
      @FairyMomma 4 місяці тому +3

Yes, that IS the problem. As adults and parents, we have the awareness to understand there are people out there who would like to do awful things to our children. It is sad that we have to think like that but it's reality. This idea that parents are the ones sexualizing our children by telling them to wear age appropriate clothing, is not only disgusting but dangerous. One more thing to try and drive a wedge between kids and their parents. Thus making it even easier for predators to get their claws in. I am not sexualizing my young child by insisting she dress like a young child. I am protecting her innocence and childhood.
The ones who blame the parents for wanting their children to dress age appropriately sounds like groomer talk to me. Sounds like protecting the pedos to me. Why else would you WANT a child to dress like an adult and why else would you WANT to convince kids that their parents are the ones in the wrong for making them dress and act age appropriately??

    • @KhadijahsMamma
      @KhadijahsMamma 4 місяці тому

No the problem is that this outfits were already sexualised before they were made in children sizes. Yet he decided that this was a great outfit for a child while he, an adult, knows the world is full of predators. It’s not new that there are shady teachers or predators in and around schools. Her father was supposed to explain this and let her wear this in their own home/back yard. So yes, the clothes she is wearing with her age is a problem and whatever might happen is her father’s fault.
