No one that I know of this far and I'll admit I'm still discovering new bands so it is possible. He was unique and one of a kind though. If his drums don't impress you his big heart and personality would for sure. I feel absolutely honored to have seen him play one of his last shows.

He was an awesome drummer and his Personality was amazing but the greatest thing about him was his ability to write entire songs, really not common at all for a drummer to write entire songs like a little piece of heaven, just a genius musical mind, could write cool lyrics, cool stuff on guitar, killer drums etc. man was the whole package and it’s so sad he died at 28 because we missed out on so many more years of greatness. Like you said he was extremely unique, there will never be another like him.

You need to react to Flash of The Blade. It's an Avenged Sevenfold cover of an Iron Maiden song but to me they carried the song better than the original, because it just doesn't sound like a song Iron Maiden would make.
