coachella rant below because twitter be pissin me off fr
personally, i think that both LE SSERAFIM and ATEEZE killed their performances. i dont see why people see the need to discredit le sserafim for no reason, they killed their stage and controlled the crowd insanely well. i feel like some people DONT know what coachella is, its a big ass festival for artists to bring hype, have fun, and obviously perform, key word, PERFORM!! le sserafim did just that; they performed, INSANELY WELL. they might not have had like mariah carey live vocals but jesus some people are just miserable and love to hate. ateez definitely set standards extremely high because theyre ateez, but like come on. some people just be pissin me off. le sserafim controlled the crowd better than like 90% of other artists, and brought more hype than most. sorry i just HATE people that comment on videos and only point out the negatives and hate on every little thing. i saw someone hate on sakura and kazuha because of their english like?? they’re literally japanese, just live a little man.

I think its not accent, they koreanized the word from english, so they’re not technically wrong, they say english word, but said with how hangul sounded. That’s why its quite hard for mark since he prefer speak the english word with actual english pronouncation, not with hangul

Yes, this is correct. It's similar to a japanese person not adjusting well/not liking to say japanese words with english pronunciation. For japanese it is often more accent than genuine alphabetical differences, but y'know, similar. It's the difference between the Japanese version ah-nee-meh and english version a-ni-may.

you're kinda right with the syllables tho cos hangul follows a syllabic structure in blocks or bricks. they should always be in syllables, like mark would be mar-keu

Yo Ethan, my recommendations have not failed you yet lmao So I highly recommend you check out NCT Dream on GMM (Good Mythical Morning) when they were on there last year doing dance Telephone challenge. It's hilarious. Also Johnny and Mark making their mini switching bodies "movie" also, are you sure you're done with EXO content? Lol
i’ve actually watched the GMM episode before 😭 for the past like two years gmm has been apart of the daily routine, i’ve seen a TON of episodes. i’ve even seen the ep with jackson wang (one of my favorite guests they’ve ever had) and i didn’t even know who he was until a few months ago LMAO. and for EXO content, of course i’m not “done” with it! when they release more songs and what not i’ll ofc check it out! like baekhyun and suho are releasing new music? and CBX? I think at least (don’t quote me though).

about the Coachella rant: it's obvious that HYBE is a company that needs to invest in vocals, this problem has been going around for years already and i feel bad for their artists every time it happens. but yeah, the bullying on twitter is freaking insane and k-netz are always ready to attack someone while being completely silent about ATEEZ, like literally, not one Korean article was written about their amazing performance.
anyways, le sserafim has good vocalists and Yunjin is an insane opera singer, so seeing her struggle that much feels a bit off-putting for me but i don't blame the girls,, maybe they were tired or didn't realize how tough it was gonna be to perform all these hype songs 100% live (+ the nervousness ofc)
