It's a little bit strange but English don't use the word PUPILS. They prefer STUDENTS.
I wish u had studied English from ooe before you started teaching.

This must be the most useful channel for people who want to improve their English skills on UA-cam. I wish I had started watching your lessons years ago, but it's never too late.
Thanks a lot.
Stephanie’s accent is very clear and easy to understand. I like Stephanie.
it's really !
Is she american ?
When I completed my graduation i had gone to Singapore and enjoyed with my family members that was one of my happiest days in my life and also I went to universal studios in Singapore with my friends first time in my life .
I wish I'd teacher like u when I was younger. I v been learning English for 3 years, ur method of English teaching very nice I get it quickly .thanks a lot love u both of u teachers
I wish I’d found this fantastic UA-cam channel earlier in my English learning journey because there’s a lot of informative free content for learners at different levels which is like an all-in-one package for me to enhance my English knowledge with. If I’d spent more of my time looking for good learning materials, I would’ve been more fluent in English by now. Anyway, thank you so much for making these amazing videos! Best wishes
My phrase for today: "I wish I had discovered you sooner" 😊 Great job, I love you ALL ! 👍
About three weeks ago, I was looking for some English lessons here and I have come across yours. There are many clips teaching you English but this is one of the best. The male teacher, whom I have forgotten the name, has very natural voice and attitude and an authentic English person you can meet on the streets of UK. I am glad, I have found you. I have learnt three languages but English is the hardest of all them. I am looking forward to really improve my English here. All the best
Thanks for the comment, Tewesk! Good luck with your English studies!
Extremely helpful!! Thank you Martin, Stephanie and all the people of OOE.
I found ur video after I've searched on Google... seriously this video has a lot of things that English learners should gain some knowledge about past tense .. and you've covered almost all lessons in one video...I'm really surprised bcoz I have been watching a lot videos to learn those things but u covered almost all topics about where to use past tense ... tqs a lot 😘😘😘
When I was 7 years old, I broke my right arm. I never had broken a bone. My parents, my brothers and I went to a river beach in Amazon forest, more specifically at "Pajuçara", a place knowed by its ravines. My brother and two of my cousins slipped for play at one ravine and I followed them. The rest of story is with your imagination.
Thanks for sharing, Alan. Here are a few suggestions:
1) '...in the Amazon forest,' not, '...in Amazon forest'.
2) '...more specifically, Pajuçara, a place...' not, '......'.more specifically at "Pajuçara", a place
3) '...a place known for its ravines,' not, '...a place knowed by its ravines'.
Hope this is useful for you!

Telling a story was always difficult for me specifically how to use past tenses. By this lesson I have got some ideas. Very good presentation, really appreciative. 👍
I could have understood all the things needed to master english if only I had discovered this channel years before now. Thank you all for the remarkable support given free to foreign learners like me to understand english well

Sir this lesson very useful for me I have cleared so many doubts. Thanks
Hello, thank you so much. I've been figuring out this whole my life.
Thank you for the explanation. The use of all the verb forms is clear because it is illustrated with examples from everyday life.
A story
I am a school teacher, and last year my students and I had to participate in a contest of plays between schools of our district. I had already taken part in such a contest with "The Country Mouse and the Town Mouse" a year before but then my students didn't win. I've chosen "Three Little Pigs" for the last year contest. The preparation was full of adventures. To start with, we had been looking for a piece of theatrical scenery in the school costume room and found it in another place. Then some children just didn't learn the lines. They did it the day before the performance. Finally, some actors were forgetting to do their movements to the music. But we received a lot of help. The mother of one of the students has sewn the costumes. My colleague helped with the choreography. In the result we have won the first prize.
Thank you so much my dear teachers. i want to speak English better and better! and i will. i'm sure!
Thank you so much for this lesson. I wish I'd put more attention to my English lessons. Luckily, I ran into this channel a few months ago, and my English is really improving.
Acho que finalmente estou aprendendo a usar o "past"... Aula bem clara, objetiva e ao mesmo tempo, leve. Adorei!
Start with setting the scene by using "was/were+ing" and then your past tense verbs will automactically and easily follow your story. Thanks for your tricks!
That"s agreat work you're doing. Very useful and helpful. Thanks a lot.1000like
Thank you teachers ,I followed you every video .
Thank you Teachers teaching us so much!
“I use to play guitar. I don’t play guitar anymore. After a long, hard working day I would go home and play my guitar.”. Excellent, super lesson. Thanks. Please check my sentences. Still not sure how to use “would” in past tense
Nice examples, Shamema! Remember, 'I used to...' not 'I use to...'
I am learning English by myself and I see this videos very interesting to learn either grammar or entonation
Many thanks, dear teachers it was the best English lesson that I have ever done. I am going to practice it. Have a terrific weekend. Bye bye for now
Thanks for watching, Marco!
This was my first video that I watched in your channel and I found it very informative, thanks for both of you.
In 2017 i was in Morocco. I had prepared the trip some weeks. I have been in Marrakech a couple of times. I have visited Hassan II mosque and I've have gone to the historical city of Agadir. I went also in Rabat in the same year. It is a cosmopolitan city in wich we can found European, Asians and African cultures. It was a wonderful holiday
Thanks for sharing a great response, Makhtar! Here are some corrections for you:
1) 'In 2017 I went to Morocco,' not, 'In 2017 i was in Morocco.'
2) 'I had prepared for the trip for some weeks,' not, 'I had prepared the trip some weeks.'
3) I'm not sure of your exact meaning here, but it may be better to say: 'I went to Marrakech a couple of times that year,' or, 'I have been to Marrakech a couple of times,' rather than, 'I have been in Marrakech a couple of times.'
Hope this helps you!

I used to live in Urmia when I was a student. At that time, I would stick to junk food that causes several health problems for me. So, I changed my lifestyle, and I don't eat unhealthy food anymore.

... one of the best lessons...
One day, my uncle asked me...HAVE you ever EXPERIENCED any bitter thought.
I replied....i EXPERIENCED two years ago. When i USED TO play cricket match, although i dont play it ANYMORE. It was a sunny day, when i WAS PLAYING my match then suddenly a ball stuck into my mouth and i FELL down on the ground unconsciously. My mother HAD DENIED me to go outside on that day but i avoided her that day. Although i did not use to play the game without any precaution but that day i missed it. IF ONLY, I HAD TAKEN some precautionary measures.
Please correct me, if made any mistake. Thanks a lot to both of you.
Nice, Umesh! Bear in mind that 'used to' can only be used for repeated actions or situations in the past, not for single actions (like a cricket match).
Thanks for watching!
I listening evry day thanks wonderful .

Before the pandemic started I would always go to different bars around the city with my friends,. We would skip our night classes just to hangout together.
During hard lockdown it was in the middle of 2020 I used to watch English classes on UA-cam I would always spend 2 hours studying English to improve my knowledge as well as to make my life meaningful although I was just sitting and laying down in bed.
Excellent response, Angelica! Here are some corrections to make it even better:
1) '...just to hang out together,' not, 'hangout.'
2) 'During the hard lockdown...' not, 'During hard lockdown...'
3) '...lockdown, which was in the middle of 2020, I used to...' not, '...lockdown it was in the middle of 2020 I used to...'
Hope this helps you!
