The French are striking meanwhile in the US we just keep working till we can't. I am 68 still working everyday on a farm. Trying to help my daughter who has a heart condition. Although working full time she owes hundred of thousands of dollars to the hospital.
france is always striking, like seriously every 3 months for like 4 years has been a strike. they iterally have four different movements of civil unrest happening currently, o ne of which has been ongoing since 2018. they know how to do it, the are burning it down bec retirement age going from 62 to 64, where here we don't really have a true retirement age anymore, its just work work work
In the extremely unlikely event you'd be inclined to listen to some person on the internet for once, I would highly, highly suggest you **implore** your daughter to contact any patient advocate organization about her medical bills since barring some extreme circumstance they'll be able to either massively reduce your daughters bill to numbers that you and I can understand or eliminate it entirely. I'm usually really careful in what I say, but this is one of those cases where you may be able to change your daughters life in a massive positive direction if she does reach out to any patient advocacy group about her debts. All the best to you and your daughter.
@@FlyingVolvo Thank you I listen to people that make sense to me. She doesn't have any credit. She doesn't talk to me much except to ask for money even though she lives in my house. I will mention your advice.
america, america, god shed his grace on thee... god ain't looking. devil may take an interest. during the course of the viet nam war, i decided i was on the wrong side, and left. good decision. recommend it to anyone who's got a trade or education. for you, only consolation is dying deeply in debt. more the better.
all this reminds me of OJ trial stupidity in the 90s, and i'm sure other stupidity 50 yrs before that and 50 more before that, etc ... stupidity is built into the system
it's only the 1st inning of 'crimes' so let them blow their wad on the 'weak' one .. and then bring in the pitchers with the real 'heat' .. clearly this will be a long game so don't jump to conclusions .. there will be more charges and court appearances ..
Yes and no, FDIC did not bailed out SVB, it just repaid depositors, the bank still went under. However, FDIC repaid ALL deposits, not just up to the cap, which is a freebie they got and did not paid for, which can put FDIC in a bind in a similar larger scale bank crashes. If that happens US government/tax payers will be on a hook to fund FIDC obligations, so implicitly government did got involved. Some say it was necessary to stabilize banking system, some say it was typical socialism for the rich scheme that props up any time when there is a crisis, the truth is probably bit of both.
Interesting talk but globalization is dying and few countries have the ability to hold themselves up with their own national production be it food or manufactured goods. Let alone the population issues most countried have. The US, France, Italy and Canada will be the last standing from the current order with the rest of Europe falling to different degrees. India will rise and be the newest challenger to the US leading position. China will fall and it will be very fast and hard. This is the last decade they have in the lime light.
You guys should compare Mainland Chinese Tiktok (only educational content) VS Western Tiktok (binge drinking challenges, car theft challenges and general content that is detrimental to society in general) Since tiktok is an arm length CCP company, IMO we need to require them to provide the same content they do in mainland China or heavily regulate it..

We can do better! This should be the mantra for voters.
Please come to New Zealand and be our Prime Minister.
‘Performativity rather than substance.’ That may be the fin de siècle 21st century’s defining phrase.
I was five and went to kinder garden all by my self. It was only about 300 yards down the street, in those days it was a completely normal thing.

Russia, both simultaneously proving and disproving the necessity of NATO.

tfg won't win again, he was voted out of office before the 6th, he might win the primary but he won't win a general.
21:00 no not true. The government did not bail SVB. FDIC backed deposits, banks pay FDIC insurance. Then SVB was sold, no tax payer was used.
Depends how you define bailout. This time it's just different people (depositors rather than shareholders). I suspect that's what he meant.

I think you could swap Germany with Italy in your take, but other than that, spot on.
@@dameongeppetto German imports cheap raw goods from mostly Eastern Europe to have their economy. Without cheap base goods they will fail.

'we?' wasn't aware ordinary people had any say in national policy.
