How do your units keep healing after combat constantly

Iron reapers have special unit doctrine (Epic Combat Doctrine) it gives a buff every 9th attack heals a percentage of the units. Very strong on Iron Reapers

I have two doctrines with blunt dmg and blunt dmg pen and i that's why. They even knock back units some time
