Great video as always. I have been trusted with more audio responsibility at my church and a lot of that knowledge comes from your channel ❤️. I'd like to ask if you can do a video for us showing your sound wiring matrix - how speakers are fed; do you use a DSP? If you do use a DSP, mind telling me (us) how you use it to operate multiple speakers/line array
Thanks for the feedback. That’s exciting to hear that you are learning so much and gaining responsibility. In terms of my speakers I don’t have anything fancy in place. My signal goes direct from the board to my stage box. Out of the stage box the XLR cable goes to my sub and then I take the high-pass output (which has a built in filter to remove 100hz and down) and connect to my top speaker. This happens on both sides which gives me a stereo PA setup with two subs and two top cabinets. I have RTAd the room and only needed the channel strip EQ on the main output to tame some unwanted frequencies. I’m pretty lucky that I don’t have an odd shaped room or need delay speakers or front fills. I hope that helps.
The full transformation from a movie theatre to a church (in terms of tech) takes about 45 minutes. I didn’t show the movie speakers that are on stage just behind their screen, but those are also on movers dollys and get wheeled off stage as well. So, the tech is usually 3-4 people (ProPresenter person, sound tech, camera person, sometimes a lighting person) and the band could be as little as 2 and as many as 7 and they take care of their setup (personal gear, mic and IEM) in that time as well.
@@AllamHouse Many thanks for taking your time and let us participate on your work! Really appreciate your dedication and I can say I learned a lot from you - especially setting up our X32 compact according to your suggestions shifted the sound for streaming to an other level. God bless you man! Greetings from Germany
Nice video , I like your portable case and dollys for your speakers .👍🏾
Thanks for the encouragement.

Cool! How much time do you need to set up each Sunday and how many people you have to do this?
