Very helpful video! I need to replace the console because *someone* (definitely not me, certainly not) spilled coffee on the original and now the parking brake won’t work. After watching this, I’m very confident I can do it myself.
Thank you so much for posting this video. You saved me $1000 from going to the dealer to replace my drive controller that apparently the last owner spilt Coca Cola all over the middle console. A picture (or video) is worth a thousand words.

Did you just clean the substance and your buttons weren’t sticky anymore? Which screws are used to take out the center console?
is it plug and play meaning once i install the new controller its going to work just fine right?
