Well these are amateurs, only one way to learn but you would think they would watch a race or two in an effort to not look too ignorant. Makes you wonder why they are running pro lights though.
Bike riders don't really need to know much about drag racing to absolutely walk any car on the quarter mile. That's just how big the weight advantage of sports bikes are. With the grip spray they have on those tracks partially equalizing the grip advantage (due to weight) of cars, the bike riders don't even need to try. That's why they don't know that much. In their experience, they just rolled up on their squid missiles, lined up the way the ref told them to, then humiliated that Dodge Demon guy.
not exactly true these days when your four door Mercedes GT 63 has over 600 hp. Cars pulling 11's are a dime a dozen now so you have to be pulling 10's. @@sorashirogami1729
My 2017 Ducati Panigale 1299s 398 lbs, last of the big twin, ran a 9.80153 mph, A handful without launch control. 198 horse on the Dyno. My 2021Ducati Street Fighter 1103 V4s, 415 lbs 9.54 155 mph. 207 rear wheel horse. Both have Akrapovic Titanium race exhaust, MAP and low restriction air filter. Used and abused daily, my every day transportation all year. Several track days a year. I'm 175 lbs, 73 years old !!
A lot depends on the rider at green light, but when both have clean starts, Busa is awesome. I saw one at 9.85 and other out of focus, but it appeared to be 9.18. thats quick.
The Kawasakis ( H2, H2R) have brutal power and hence the inevitable wheelies! A rider who can buck that and correct for balance minutely will skin any rival in this field in short order. The Busas also offered decent performance ( or is it the riders?)
Most of them have it writen on the side. 😅 Some of the featers never change, such as R1 mantis looking front, chunky Hayabusa back + Japanese big letters on side.
4:03-4:05 he just did the international gesture of unappreciation? the hayabusa would’ve been a hyperbike if the bike didn’t have the gentleman’s agreement max speed 299kph. i bet ~340kph max for the hayabusa.
I see that it doesn't matter so much the bike, it's the rider... Watching my favorite bike lose the race is terrible maybe his CBR was RR(Race -Ready) Yet the rider wasn't /:
that stretched out Hayabusa got a horrible launch, dropped throttle and still had a better 1/8 time. Typically, you drop throttle completely and your race is over.
I had a panagale when they came out but got 1999 hayabusa turbo for drag events its still road legal too and being 1999 ppl think pilr of junk as I have all my old fairing on everything not to make it stand out still I'll freshen up over winter I got a 8 sec at 174 mph at santa pod uk so there's plenty to go I've had 185 on the Mexico motorway
The only thing I hate about drag race are the camera angles... :| they should have cameras on bikes, in the middle of the track, in front of the bikes, etc...
1:33 Favorit Sound🤤🔥🔥
That last race. Holy shizzzz. H2 looking to pass but the busa going crazy azz fast.
H2R not H2

i love these videos! thank you for the upload :D
4:05 when the H2 rider flicks off the Hayabusa guy and then loses lol classic
yeah that was the best part of the video, karma at its finest
4:05 It wasn't a H2 it was H2 SX SE
6:00 H2🔥 and Hayabusa 🤣💩
@@badshashah6092 Your fire H2 still lost to the first Hayabusa. Sucks he needs a missed shift/broke bike to win.

I wish the camera man would stay on the time board longer.
One thing is for certain. NONE of these guys can drag race.
none of these are h2r's, they're all regular h2s
There is a Mission raceway just outside Vancouver BC too. Too many wheelies and chub gotta get behind the fairing.
Hayabusa is the supra of motorbikes 🔥
...and H2 the R34 GTR ;-)
I'm not much into motorbike recognition so wouldn't it be nice if the brand were pointed out?
Nope
Nah
We like to keep it secret.

1st gen Hayabusas didn't trap at 161 mph nor have extended swingarms. About as incomparable as racing a speed boat.

crazy how all the big bikes like hayabusa and 1400 kawa's do 9ish the lighter bikes cant keep up.
an extra 3-400 ccs definitely helps a bit, good luck turning one of those things tho ;) definitely closer to sport-touring than the liter bikes

Drag Racing is not Road Racing/ Most of the Real Bike here might lose a Drag Race. But, not a Road Race with their Superior Handling and TOP END.
