Jeremy and Melissa, you are such sweethearts and you are so inspiring! May God continue to bless, lead, and guide you on this incredible journey you are on. We are rooting you on with all our hearts!
The ad for the pest control was the best yet better than any actor's. I was in hysterical laughter . So glad you got the wall's up without any hassle and what beautiful scenery you both have got there . Manny looked ashamed after getting sheared 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Like I've said before your attitude towards problems and go to attitude are an inspiration to many, never give up, never give in. But, please, please, please lift with your legs and not your backs. Having suffered a back injury from poor lifting technique many years ago, I still have problems to this day.
You guys rock!!!! Not only do you both have extraordinary vision, dogged determination and adventurous nature's, but you are experiencing this amazing journey together as partners, parents (of a beautiful family) and as best friends! That is priceless!!! Thanks for allowing us to share in your building of your forever homestead. Can't wait for the next video.
And unfortunately this video is already over way too fast. I could watch you for hours and look forward every time another part is finished. It will be fantastic ! Many greetings from Switzerland
Melissa, your closing monologues are so good. I'm sure it does you both good as you think about what you're going to say and share it, and it is so sincerely delivered.
I never thought I would ever get hooked into watching someone else build their home after I spent several years building my own but, you guys have made it addictive !
When I was building my cabin, each step of the process checked off was so fulfilling. Clearing all the trees, stacking all the fire wood, digging the piers, building floor, putting up the walls and T-11, framing the roof, roofing, chimney, insulation, drywall, then paint. Then there was the putting stuff on the walls. Bear, bucks, gobblers, paintings, then the sign "on a quiet night down by the pond, you can almost hear the fish laughing."
@@marciaolson4878 That was finished in 2004, since then I have done another smaller cabin.10x14. Right now I am looking at a small structure by the pond in the back of my parents property. I cut down the trees I needed last year and Just cut one up for lumber so far. It is way cheaper than buying wood now.
OMG your sponsor video was one of the best so far. Watching a bad ass police officer flying screaming out of the barn because of spider...fantastic work. I laughed for 5 minutes straight.
We really enjoy your videos. They're a combination of excellent videography and beautiful landscapes. We enjoy watching you work together and know how hard you've worked to put yourself in a position to be spending each day doing what you love. Keep up the great work!
Highly recommending spray foam in those corners to make sure you get the full insulation out of that space. You can get the AB mixes at the home improvement store that will do the job nicely. Glad to see the house coming together!
Guys you are killing it!!! I can appreciate the bigger walls being put up with the sheeting on but I totally felt great watching you raise the walls without the sheeting. It's getting real now. The sheep did look naked but they will be so much happier with summer coming. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
Omg I actually laughed out loud when the Petty commercial started..when you said This man has been dealing with criminals etc etc..lol...The house is looking great!!
I always love your encouraging thoughts.God Bless your wonderful family.Love how you love life and how your thankful for all God has provided for you and your family.
I have some friends that put some scriptures into the walls and foundation before closing them up. It's a blessing. Great job guys. I love every episode.
You can have the best of both technics. Put your sheeting on on the ground except the bottom row. It will square up your walls. Use skip boots to prevent wall slipping over edge when raising your wall. Take 2 one foot long scrap 2x4s and nail on outside edge sticking them up above your floor level. I do 4 or 5 inches higher above floor level. You put your wall up, remove skips, and put your lower row of sheeting on with it's tape. Easy peasy! Just trying to help ya all! Great work guys!! 😉😊😊
Glad to see the three walls are now tied together. You beat the winds!!! Lost track of how many years I spent building a house on Whidbey Island, Washington... Aloha
Looking GOOD!! I confess to being relieved to see you raising the walls and THEN sheeting it. And, your kids are going to have GREAT memories of how their house got built.....Congrats!
The house is is just rising and becoming so real. Filling in the pit all the way around the foundation made a huge difference but, you two are making this happen! I’m so proud of you both. Working hard and making that dream into reality!!!
Man, that is some beautiful country that you are in! I really enjoy watching your channel. Such a wonderful family. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you all.
Absolutely love your philosophy and outlook on your build and living🥰🥰🥰🥰.... it's how our ancestors survived and advanced...such a sin so many have lost this insight 😔
I was working construction before EITHER of you were born and I think you are doing a stellar job. And let me say this, the ONLY days in construction where NOTHING goes wrong are the days the job site is shut down. You 2 often crack me up but you 'git 'er done'. God Bless...~Eli.
You had green sheets going up, sheets falling from the sky, turning into windows and doors and sheets slowly turning structure into a home. It's good to see you are getting your sheets together.. Seriously, you are my peace after a long, stressful day. The music, the skillful editing (love the slow mo of the kiddos jumping off the hay) and that drone make me forget about everything and have fun. Thank you. You have found a fan.
I really look forward to seeing your progress, so thankyou for a bit of escapism in this covid troubled world.. love to your family from our family in Dartmoor, Devon, UK x
Progress! Y’all doing great! Melissa, your narrations at the end are so professional. Well written, well delivered. Love seeing the kids out enjoying themselves. Wondering, are you keeping the wool to spin into yarn?
@@GoodSimpleLiving Sheep's wool is supposed to be a fantastic fertilizer and mulch for the garden; also repels slugs and snails! You guys are truly an inspiration for all of us! I am absolutely loving this family. I watch these vlogs in awe. But in the main 3 big things that I love about this family. 1. I love the bond that these children have from youngest to oldest and it’s beautiful to watch. They are going to grow up and are going to be best friends as well as close siblings. 2. I love the relationship that Mellisa and Jeremy have. I have no doubt in my mind this couple were truly meant to be together. I am convinced that someone out there in our universe definitely had a plan for this couple. They’ve been blessed with such a genuine great love for each other and added to that their children have been blessed with beauty both inside and out, with beautiful voices too. Jeremy and Mellisa just ooze fun, commitment, love and shared dreams. They working from the same page about everything 7and truly have a wonderful committed love for each other. There is truly something very special about them that I just can’t put my finger on, but it just oozes so much love. 3. Finally, I adore your filming and editing skills. Your movies have been amazing to watch. Keep it up guys, you’re all beautiful. ❤️
That gratitude is exactly why you have a beautiful family and you will be successful in all you do. And yes you are so blessed to have a godly man with all his particular attributes. Hes equally blessed. Love you guys from Peru. I have had some mystery fever thing for a week now. Negative for covid. our adventures continue. we were just GIFTED a beautiful mare which made our stallion VERY happy. The little orphan bull not only lived but is thriving, looking for a same age wife. mare, donkey and 2 sheep expecting ! Finishing the second floor of the castle. My rabbit got a wife today ! life is good
Yes very greatful for all the blessings we have... Keep the positive attitude Melissa and with Jeremy you will finish your home.. Keep going towards your goals. We are in your journey 💕💕💕💕 God bless 💖 love from 🇵🇭 Philippines 🇵🇭😍😘
Y'all are 2 of the most awesome people I know of. I am always so eager waiting for each episode. Hard to wait for them, but always worth it. Thanks for being so great. Love y'all.
Not gonna lie..that ending brought tears in eyes. You two are such an inspiration to us by showing you can do anything when you have the will. May God continue to bless you on your journey. 😊
Love your ads!! The house is going great, I'm loving seeing your progress. So exciting. I know there's a lot left once you get the walls up, but it seems to be going so quickly.
The view that y’all have is so beautiful.. I can just imagine the four seasons in all their glory..any way you do the wall raising, it’s going to be hard work.. nothing is easy when building..gosh poor sheep they look sad without their coats..
Your work ethic is something to be admired; and maintaining your humor is a joy to watch. I loved how your eldest daughter helped raise that wall. We seldom get to see her so this was a treat.
Any progress that you make is a plus. One day you will wake up and it will be the final day of your build. One step, one nail, one piece of wood at a time is what it takes and you two are doing a wonderful job and seem to be enjoying the journey. These memories will last you and the kids for a lifetime. Your closing monologs are always awesome. Good luck and "Stay the course".
