I cried through most of the movie for I could relate to it. I have a grandson living with me that has major depression due to being (Bipolar 1 depression) and is suicidal and cuts himself. It's a daily battle with him. So many teenagers are in this shape. People we need to wake up and see the teenage suicidal rates are off the chart. We need to take action. The Lord has laid this on my mind while watching this movie. Let us make a plan now... this moment...Every FRIDAY we set that day apart to pray at least three times to God for all the teens that need Him. First name on the list will be my grandson JEREMY 17. He suffers with major depression and cutting. When we get to Heaven we can share our victories together.

I will pray for your grandson Jeremy, and will ask you to pray for my grandson, Mikael, who is also living with me.
He lived with us for 10 years from he was an infant till he was 10, and then with his mom for 7 1/2 years, and he came back to us last Christmas. He turned 18 in April.
I am 64 and my husband 66.
We need all the prayers we can get.

This movie brought me into tears. I was that person 16yrs ago. Been molested, rape, beat on, in my early 20's single mom of four kids, people picked on me, laughed at me including family ETC.... No one to turn to. I got tired and used to cut myself to relieve my pain. And I wrote my kids a letter, the family saying why I did it. GOD saw how I was lost and helped me through it all. Separated me from my friends and family .So I can stay focused on GOD. I'm now 38 years old. And I sacrifice so many things, when I go through things I always pray. I 🙏🏾🙏🏾 that God strength u all who suffers From depression.

Hello Sister in Christ🙏 we led the same life, single mom, moved more than a jack rabbit, always being the new kid really sucked! Mom married a demon😢. Sexually abusive stepfather, mom not believing me was the hardest and always having to pretend all was alright just to keep from being hollered at or beat with a belt....now I don't pretend. I've forgiven them and myself for what I felt was a weak person. God showed me how strong I had to be to survive, to forgive and now live for God. Forgiveness is Glory to God and for ourselves and our peace of mind they didn't win....I DID!! I SURVIVED!!! Praise God!!💖🙏💖

What a gorgeous movie. People these days complain that the world is getting worse every day, but they don't do anything about it because they simply don't know how. The answer is easy! If we ALL showed a little TLC and Kindness to others daily, it would start to spread, as our emotions are contagious. This little action is sooo BIG in the Eyes of God, and doesn't cost a cent to give, and CAN literally change lives.

This is such an amazing movie. Teenagers so need this message. Many struggling with the same depressive emotions and thoughts, rejection, isolation, etc can fight through that desert time, because they have a living relationship with God. He is even their only friend and they experience His embracement, acceptance and words of life spoken directly to them.
When they speak words of death and hatred over themselves, He immediately breaks it with words of LIFE and LOVE.
Be used by God (even unknowingly) - SMALL acts of love/endurance are used by Him and have saved MANY LIVES. Believe me

I do believe you 🙂. From age 13-18, a cloud of depression remained over my (useless) life. I never attempted, but thot on it often,.. too chicken to do it. I'm here cuz I made a choice (@19), to live. Flared up again later in life, but I did not take that walk in the snow. Now, @ 64, it's not really an issue for me, and totally manageable without meds. I'm trying to give hope, that you're still alive, still able to receive God's love and see the amazing things he will do! 😎
Great movie with a great message of hope. Also a message of how fragile some people can be when they are ignored or treated differently due to peer pressure or ridicule. We can make a difference when we learn how to treat each other as equals and not as less than. This massage gets 5 BIG 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 shining stars.

I wanted to jump out !. If she looked out the window, that is where we were!.scary in movie x more s are in real car!.
So many out there hurting. Truth that no one wants to hear about or maybe don't even care about... it could be your son or daughter, your mom or dad, a very close friend. You get the picture. It could be You. I pray for our eyes and our ears to be open.

i watched this when it came out and i was confused abit but it was a good movie, now years later im 31 and this is one of the best christian movies ive ever seen and its amazing to have God work in ur life and give you a opportunity to chance and save another life. amazing
My daughter won a copy of this movie in dvd when she was a teenager at a Christian gathering and showing of it in our town square. We all love this movie.

What a great film and yes I agree with lots of the comments! And, I am really beginning to believe that I am being led to these films by our creator and I think it should be shown in every youth group, every congregation, every jail inmate, all juvenile offenders, the whole universe because this film tells it like it is and shows the controversies and consequences that we all have faced or will at some point and that's human and that's body and soul and it's shown and told in a way that all ages can get it! I can honestly say that this is one of my favorites and pass it on and can I get an Amen?

This was such a tear jerker and in my younger years certainly could have related to certain characters including being a cutter when I was young due to not being able to deal with emotional pain and feeling very alone.. Over 50 now and still have the scars from my younger years. Im not Christian as such but being non judgmental and giving unconditional love towards all is so important.

I had this movie on DVD for years...and never watched it. I should have shown my kids. Here I am 2 years now after the suicide of my beautiful 23 year old son. Yes the movie made me cry, and agree with the need for every broken life to save one more or a dozen more or a 1000 more. If only someone had saved my son from doing what he did, If only I could have, I would have been eternally grateful.
Do I know why he chose to end his life that night? No. I still don't know. There are a 1000 reasons I suppose. Breakup of the family - yes - being just one of them. For everyone out there who has lost a loved one to suicide I send you a hug from someone who knows how you feel in some measure though we are all unique. You are not alone! We are Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters grieving together.
For those to whom that voice whispers to end your life I say, as it is written on my son's plaque - NEVER GIVE UP!
You don't know what is up ahead that you could never have dreamed would happen.
Like Amy, my son's girlfriend was unexpectedly pregnant too. If he'd only waited just 2 weeks more, he would have known that he was going to become a dad to the most beautiful little girl imaginable. He would have made a good dad. He didn't know and left her fatherless with a burden to carry for the rest of her life.
NEVER GIVE UP...if you are reading this...promise me you will NEVER GIVE UP.

Brilliant film, I can relate to that. My daughter has ASD finds it difficult to fit into this world, she suffer from depression too. But I always be there for her and pray with her as well as her sister too, we pray together. It was a good movie. Only if more kids / teens could have the heart to give it to God. I feel sorry for kids today. It seems like with each generation it gets worser and worser. They want to go to school to learn and to fit in, but it's not worth losing your soul. Fight the evil things in this world. I pray that more kids will keep their faith in God and make the right choices in life. It's so hard on them.

amazing movie, just a great way to give ppl a second chance, and help someone who could of ended their life but by jake saved it and he showed them the truth and by saving it and showing that people do care about you and have ppl around you that wanna get to know you and stuff God gave jake the courage to make things right, i havent seen this in a long time since it came out but im 31 and i even teared up a few times cause as christians were not suppose to be or feel like we are at the top of things and we are above ppl, but no we are not, not at all, we are the opposite, we are the lowest of the low but we arent trying to impress the worldly things we are all imperfect in a broken and messed up world but we live by faith not by sight. we should listen to others instead of judging and i really thought several years ago when i was younger that i did think that i had to get my life together and get rid of my problems before going to church or praying to God, but no i and others can go to church and be happy knowing that God will accept you and we dont need to fix things we just need to go, no matter what color or gender or what background you come from, ppl should be at church to welcome others and to learn more about God and what Jesus Christ did for us and you.
i was saved like 15 years ago or something at a youth bible meet friday night it was called youthquake and it was every 1st friday to the month but i didnt understand what being saved was and everything and ive been to alot of those teen meetings but 1 night it felt different but so i went to the front and prayed and it was different and after the song and the worship, they gave us opportunities to go and sit with a random group of like 6 others in the meeting and i was able to sit with others and talk about my problems and even thou i didnt have alot, the kids and the leader listened and we all prayed in our group and to that day i believed God worked in me and i was saved, but i been since older and things have happened but i still talk to God today and thank him for things that i am doing today or during the week, but when i was at my worst point a few months ago i had a feeling the Lord was with me, and im out of the darkness now. but this is one of the best christian or uplifting movies ever imo. everyone should see this and even if ur not a christian just saving the life of another is amazing.
