- Ron Perrin Water Technologies, Inc. diver inspects potable water GST. This is a quick look over our shoulder as we inspect a water storage tank using a diver. It is boring, just the way we like it. Not a thrilling Hollywood movie with twists and turns. Just a few minutes of a typical day at work for our dive crew. The diver is washed down with chlorine solution before entering the water storage tank to perform an interior inspection. For more diver videos see our video series; TAP TALK at www.taptalk.blog. #colbertsmallbizbump.

Thanks to all of you for doing this important work.
Adding a home water filtration system is a good health investment
This give me a level of anxiety😱
Wow thanks for sharing this was interesting
My man got lucky Delta P didn’t come to the party
Oh ,my GAUUU! I Would die pass out I I have a fear of water towers... trying to get over the phobia, its weird I know large odd shopped buildings often give me the the crepes
They give you the.... crépes? Like IHOP's lemon ricotta mixed berry crépes? I want to try those
@@rastapastrychief Oh ha har, Sargent Spell Check, or should I call you Admiral Advertisement?
@@tosborne8062 I prefer Sgt. Spell Check. Now, drop & give me 20.
Thought I was the only one! My mom would punish me sometimes by taking me to one and making me get out the car to stand by it 😂
This is so cool!!
Kinda miss working for Ron cool guy who takes pride in his work
Music groovy af
Dowses the diver with 200PPM chlorine, all but the bottom of his shoes. Then proceeds to pick the hose up off the top of the dirty tank and lead the diver down the opening to swing in your drinking water.
I clean with lemon pledge
How much does a job like this pay? Also are there benefits?
Depends on the company. Some divers are W2 and some are 1099. I started at $225/day, travel and lodging covered, driving pay, bonus for per day of early completion. Most I made in 2 weeks so far was $4800. Offshore Jobs is where the big money is made. You get paid regardless of wether you dived that day or not. I definitely don’t enjoy when we gotta climb these towers lmao
How many gallons do these tanks typically store?
10k to 40mil
Y’all hiring? I’m commercially certified! 😁
You’ll love it there’s always work and fun

Yikes bro, should have slinged off a ladder. The first rung is fucked
That doesn't look like vulcanized rubber suits ? And is that neoprene boots and gloves ? Won't that contaminate the water
That’s what the chlorine spray is for
Right? We’re required to wear vulcanized rubber dry suits but im always seeing videos of dudes wearing neoprene dry suits. I wish lmao it would make doing towers so much easier.
Unless it’s a decommissioned tank then it doesn’t matter which could very well be the case.
@@dillon5347 swear dude the towers in San Antonio during the summer suck ass in the Vulcans
I cant swim in here its dark and scary and loud whet its filling up😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🎉😂❤
It's not for everyone. The Diver is actually wearing weights so he can't even swim he just walks on the floor.
This is a water tank
Yep, potable water tanks you see all around towns and cities.
