Not sure if either of you have experienced this...but could y'all talk about how to get over a fear of commitment? I want to be married and have a family, but am terrified of actually committing to someone & making that permanent decision. Thanks for your guys' advice and honesty!
I always say if he doesn’t put any effort or consistency to want a get to know me, I’m not even entertaining it because I’m 26 years old and I don’t have time for childish games which a lot of guys love to act like little boys not a real men is just not worth my time
Morgan’s story made me think that it may not always be helpful to share what you’ve looking for because the person may fake that. Better to really get to know the person and see where you’re the person is at.

If someone is telling you that they are dating for marriage you should not feel pressured to marry them or break up with them. You can let them know that you have no goal in mind.
Me and my best friend have been besties 2 yrs. Hes not wasting my time. We were both abused as children. We still friends. Building a strong base. 1st. Surly we aren't taking too long? Hes 38 im 58. Wev stayed pure. We in love x We r very emotionally close 😊.
I always have a problem when people talk about red flags. It is like "leave before you start suffering" and I get that, but I feel like we're in a society that is so scared of suffering that we would do anyhing and everything to live a simple and easy life. But what I have experienced in my life is that there's only suffering that is able to make our hearts change, and opening our hearts to the Lord and let him heal us is probably the only way to learn Love. It is thanks to the years I suffered the most that I've become more brave and loving and patient and wise. I don't think we can learn to love without suffering. But we need God for this. We need him desperately. Of course we don't have to pursue suffering, but it is never a sin to love someone. There's only the wisdom of one person that can decide if the person is worth it or not, not a list of "red flags". We're called to discern, and then chose the narrow door: we have to see how it looks like for us.
When Luca grabbed Morgan's hand closer I was like- 🥺 Love the format. I watched a good bit of yalls videos (because nursing my baby) to get to know yall and I adore your family. Much respect and love for your videos! Stay unapologetic!
It's interesting yall mentioned the cow/milk analogy because to me I find that analogy dehumanizing. It to me assumes that marriage is all about (or mainly) sex. It comes back to the reason I think a lot of evangelicals get married so fast: to have sex. I guess its just a weird take to me. Your partner if they truly love you and value marriage will want to get married regardless of waiting/not waiting for marriage. Idk the whole take just seemed a little odd to me idk if you can explain further what you meant
Hey :) I think it’s a fair statement. Sex before marriage, among other things, can cause the guy or gal to push off marriage cuz they’re already reaping ONE of the fun benefits😊
It is a good analogy, albeit maybe a little crass or insensitive. Easy access to "the product" disincentivizes making a commitment. And marriage is fundamentally a sexual contract. You get married to have sex, make babies, and have a family.

I actually dated a guy like this before I met my husband. He was very wishy washy and he never introduced me to his parents ( they lived far away). I kept making excuses for him bc "he loved God" he prayed with and for me" He encouraged me in my walk. I was Blind and Naive. I saw the "GOOD " and " GLAZED over the BAD." 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I used to watch and comment on every video way back in the HH&BF days, but stopped when y'all shifted towards pop culture/celeb stuff more. I've checked in on you every now and then and can't describe how excited I am that you've come back to a much more needed focus on Christian relationships and sexuality. 😁 I'd like to encourage you to dive in and share your experiences, stuff you've read that was good, etc, and keep the spice to a level that is fun but not the main focus. It's good to be back to watching y'all. 😁
This channel is super underated for both religous ppl or not, youngsters as well as adults need hear the wisdom and insight that the vidoes provide, very insightful!
my ex fiancée had severe ROCD (Relationship OCD) and it's very very tricky to navigate from the wasting time perspective because it's hard to tell what's an obsessive compulsive thought vs what's true discernment...not an excuse but there are many factors i think that are being fueled by social media! and seeking "perfection" etc etc but i agree with y'all !!
i’ve experienced this with a few guys back when i was dating… i practically had to drag them to family things if they would come at all. the guy would take the step to meet the family, and then they never wanted to take the extra step after to continue to get to know them every now and then

He's Lutheran, he's 30, he says he is a contractor along with 2 other jobs, however, he can never tell me what kind of work he actually does. Is there anything else you need to know? I need all the help I can get because I don't want to waste my time on a guy who doesn't deserve me or even wants to be with me. Why put a woman through all this if he's not serious in the first place? Why would a guy tell a woman that he wants a relationship with her when he doesn't?

My boyfriend is autstic severe aspbugers I been attacked for saying that I was called names. Vile names. We actually do math problems if I can't figure it out he ll look it up let me know from google feed. His CPTS is worse than mine. Both have it unfortunately.. He's has serve anxiety disorder not going to get into exact details but basically some family member was constantly yelling at him another one they were clownish he had to cut ties with them basically they lost their first love why they became Christians in the first place. I have been praying for them that's all we can do.
