Looking forward to the bridge opening, its been closed for 5 yrs and is a real pain for us locals. Its stood for 56 yrs and local council didn't maintain the bridge so was declared dangerous and closed to all traffic. In 2018. As one of only 4 crossings of the Clyde in the area, 2 of which are not suitable for HGVs, when one closes its causes all sorts of bother.
The bridge has been there more than 56 years. I assume you mean 56 years since the problem was first acknowledged, and that would be about right as were bused to Carstairs to school for a months and we had to travel by then barracks road as a mini bus with school children was not allowed to cross the bridge.
Afternoon, as you were saying near the end of the video about getting your first job, I passed my class 1 about 3 months ago and ever since keep getting rejected everywhere. So I did what you said and ventured out and got my foot in the door a few weeks ago and I did still got rejected by the majority. I have applied for Jenkinsons but still waiting for an apply. As a Carlisle lad (living north of the river) I wondered where this vid was, but then it dawned on me, it's Carstairs (well almost) in Lanarkshire. I pass it every day as I speed up and down in my train...

The reason that my channel works for me on here is due to the fact that it is pure, raw, and genuine. I do not monetise my channel, and I do not make a penny from UA-cam, as that is not what I am about at all on here. I provide free entertainment on my channel purely for the fun, love, and passion of doing it. I can't speak on behalf of anyone else but as soon as people start to go commercialised, and then start product testing and trying to plug and promote stuff on there channel then I personally feel that they loose there authenticity, and just become part of the rest of the bull shit that social medial is now churning out by the bucket load. That is not what I am about at all. I am happy as I am at the moment just doing my own little thing on my own. I have a good growing loyal following on UA-cam and I am happy with that at the moment. Sorry, but Pettinain is in Lanark(shire). It was mention of the Clyde which confirmed it! The highway code has changed from the old system, which did not say you should indicate when joining a roundabout, only 90 degrees before you leave it. Many old farts (me) might not have updated themselves. Thanks for the education, including the Scottish HGV speed limit on single carriagways, in a different video.
