I love all your videos. They are very helpful. Pro tip for getting the hoses on the barbed connectors: heat up some water in an insulated cup. Dip the ends of the hoses into the cup and let them sit for 15 secs or so. They will easily go on the connections.

Thank you! And yes, heating water and dipping the hose in it works wonders on getting it on the barbed connections! Good call out :)

I was thinking about stacking the cabinet on top of the chiller in the standard tubing configuration by the use of 4x 90 degree elbows. Or 8x 45 degree elbows at the standard chiller to cabinet junction. Flow rate reduction through elbows being the primary downside for this plan. Ive been reading that the bends in the chiller will have the overwelming % of reduction and 4x extra 90s wont have that much of an impact.

You want to have high water flow rate. yes elbow plumbing can reduce the water flow rate but you offset it by having a powerful enough water pump. This means you can still stack the cabinets and test the water flow with any plumbing option and see how the current water pump performs and if you need an upgrade or not.

is that angled pump connector included in the purchase? i see in some other videos when looking at the pump inside the cabinet, the top piece points straight up instead of being angled the way you have it in this video. it seems like thta might cause some unwanted kink/excess bend since it needs to go to the side instead of straight up when doing this stacked set up

The angled pump connector indicates our newest product improvement and this is included in all current and future models.

do your chillers use heat plates?

Hello, after talking (I think with you) the answer is NO our technology does not utilize "heat plates" like some other chillers. In fact, these so called heat plates contaminate water quality over time and are harmful to human skin exposure. Companies that sell these chillers are not manufacturers but are drop shippers, buyer beware. Trust RevX the true manufacturer, ask us any questions and we will give you a transparent answer.
