This really helped! Having composing some more cinematic style scores lately and decided to give Logic a try, and was heartbroken when I wasn’t able to get World Piano running for their incredible choir sounds!
If there a way to add ask the extra sound packs from the Mac version of Logic into the iPad version? There are many times the instruments on the Mac version such as a flute etc
To change AU instruments through the plug-in pane, tap the pencil icon, remove the existing instrument, and then you can add a different one. Even when adding a new track, I prefer to skip the three-dots menu and then add the AU instrument through the plug-in pane because then you get access to a search field. Searching for an AU is-for me-so much better than navigating that menu organized by developer.
@@PeteJohnsMusic FWIW, someone had asked me for a screen recording, so here’s an example. I replace Alchemy with Viking Synth. ua-cam.com/video/Gm8AlxTRcAk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

Nope. Logic Pro iPad has quite a few sound library packs but doesn’t have everything in the Mac version.
Another outstanding video! Thanks Pete!!! 🙏🔥🎸🌶️

Great 👍 video, Pete. Over the years I bought countless instruments and effects. Most of the time I use stock plug-ins.

You’ll need to find apps that are AUv3 compatible. Http://studiolivetoday.com/freeau

I’ll have to try it again. I could only get the stock instruments when I tried this originally. Thanks for the tip.
